Libertarian Hell

Greetings good citizen,

What do you say after you have announced that doomsday is upon us?

(And make no mistake about it, it is ‘here’! I'll even admit to being ‘late’ in heralding its arrival.)

Worse good citizen the ‘revolution’ is also proceeding apace.

What you need to understand good citizen is that this revolution is your worst nightmare incarnate!

Think the bossman beat you before? You ain’t seen nothing’ yet!

I’d point to the most obvious ‘dilemma’ the survivors of the coming revolt will face but that has already come to pass as our former government dies. Any possible legal remedy will be denied to you.

Welcome to ‘Libertarian Hell’ a place that operates on the premise that YOU have NO rights.

In LH, all right’s spring from ‘ownership’. If you own, you have rights, if you don’t, you’re a ‘parasite’…(putting a rather hefty number of the less fortunate at a decided disadvantage.)

Needless to say, there will be blood. ( My money’s on the ‘cornered animals’ the ones that truly understand what ‘united we stand, divided we fall’ means…the ones who don‘t scoff at the idea ‘they want us dead‘.)

(Preferably they’d work us to death but either way is a ‘win’ as far as these self-centered bastards are concerned.)

Libertarians, like the Ancient Greeks, have absolutely no problem with slavery. I think their inability to conceive of civilization without slaves speaks volumes about their depravity.

Wake up and smell the coffee, these ARE (exactly) the kind of people we are dealing with!

Left unsaid in Mr. Rich’s editorial is the disturbing issue of whether or not THE MEDIA has ‘hijacked’, er, ‘our’ government?

If we follow the, er, ‘chain of command’ we’d see that the elite ‘owns’ commerce and commerce owns the media and the media controls what passes for government.

But sometimes A picture is worth a thousand words

Some may argue that this image is ‘exclusive’ to Republican/Libertarian ‘strategy’ in Wisconsin but I’d argue that the ‘evidence’ says otherwise…

This is why I am calling ‘Game Over’ now, when things are dicey but still functioning.

They won’t be much longer.

It’s all coming to a head good citizen. Even the slowest among you should be able to see it. Bizarrely, conservatives are cheering the ‘death’ of their ‘rights’.

But this brings us back to ‘you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til its gone.’

What follows is a poorly thought out attempt to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, it is far too late to ‘rein in’ a government that has long since escaped our control.

But I post this as a favor to a friend.

Exhibit ‘A’ that you don’t have to be bat shit crazy to be my friend.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified!  Why?  Simple!  The people demanded it.  That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message..  This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Subject: Washington Reform 2011

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message.

         Congressional Reform Act of 2011

         1. Term Limits.

12 years only, one of the possible options below..

            A. Two Six-year Senate terms
            B. Six Two-year House terms
            C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

         2.  No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

         3.  Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately.  All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.

         4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

         5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise and Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

         6. Congress loses its current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

         7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

         8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.  The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.   Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

I’ll add the same ‘observation’ that my friend made, whoever wrote this appears confused by what each ‘branch’ of government has the power to do (or not do.)

Ironically, it is the repeated failure of every effort to make government more ‘accountable’ that forms the foundation of the argument that our government has been hijacked by the oligarchs.

Once more into the breach then?

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner
