It's not science, it's politics!

Greetings good citizen,

The past couple of weeks have left me feeling stunned by the brazenness being displayed by the corporate owned media.

I’ve also noticed the gradual ‘adoption’ of the more correct (accurate) term ‘corporate owned’ starting to replace the less definitive term ‘MSM’.

This is an important distinction because the only ones who ‘enjoy’ free speech are the people who ‘own’ the public square.

Which is to point out that there is no such thing as Free Speech, just like there is no such thing as ‘Free Markets.’ Truth be told, you don’t want them to be ‘free’ either!

Recognizing that the boundaries of the market are ambiguous and cannot be determined in an objective way lets us realize that economics is not a science like physics or chemistry, but a political exercise. Free-market economists may want you to believe that the correct boundaries of the market can be scientifically determined, but this is incorrect. If the boundaries of what you are studying cannot be scientifically determined, what you are doing is not a science.

Which is to say ‘economics’ is more politics than anything else.

Worse, it is a…‘system’ where perception management is commonly utilized to confound clarity of vision regarding more practical considerations.

As I pointed out yesterday, if you let the criminals determine what constitutes a crime you will soon find all kinds of criminal activity that is protected ‘by law’.

Which is to point out that much of what the law ‘permits’ is not necessarily in your (or the public-at-larges) interest.

It’s a mighty sobering thought to discover that the people entrusted with protecting your interests have sold you down the river for a campaign contribution…

Makes you wonder just who thought allowing politicians to keep their campaign ‘war chests’ was a ‘good idea’?

You don’t suppose it would be the same people who make a habit of ‘buying’ politicians, do you?

What do you suppose should be done about this decidedly ‘treacherous’ behavior?
These people are screwing the rest of us out of, er, ‘sound government’.

Which is to point out that ‘sound government’ has remained beyond the reach of any who could not ‘afford’ it.

And that is a decidedly damning indictment.

Think of all the people who have been screwed out of receiving the justice they deserve?

And the willfully ignorant corporate owned media has the chutzpah to wonder why ordinary people go on shooting sprees…

All we can deduce from this is that the conventions preventing most of us from killing one another on sight are wearing thinner with each passing day…any nobody needs to wonder why.

For your further consideration, we have this article to put a finer point on how close the landmine our self-professed betters are tap-dancing upon is to detonating…

Stupid is as stupid does…

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Lies, damn lies and statistics...

Greetings good citizen,

It’s reasonably ‘safe’ to speak my mind here behind the ‘opt in’ wall that Blogger provides. Naturally, safety comes at a price. I’ve seen readership drop dramatically since I ceased posting on Conceptual Guerilla.

Whatever…I don’t tend to sweat the small stuff.

Which is to point out that there are much larger, er, situations to stay on top of.

Like the relentless torrent of ‘dis-information’ the Corporate owned media continues to spew.

The latest ‘puzzler’ to be pawned off by the professional liars of the CO media is the 4th quarter GDP number, which with unemployment of the charts, comes in at a hefty 3.2%.

The ‘rationale’ behind this incredible claim…’the recovery’ is taking place somewhere else on the planet (but ‘magically’ the US economy is expanding because of it!)

Worse, these same idiots tell us that the Chinese economy continues to expand at more than a 10% annual rate, but, the question remains unanswered. Just who the fuck are they selling to? Name the global economy that isn’t bankrupting itself to provide its citizens with basic services?

(Understand the challenge is literal, name ONE economy that ISN'T busting at the seams...and you can't because they're ALL CONNECTED!)

Must be that ’free trade agreement’ we signed with MARS last month!

OR it could just be more smoke and mirrors

No. 347: 4th Quarter GDP, December Durable Goods, Home Sales

January 28th, 2011

"Advance" 4th-Quarter GDP Estimate Was Meaningless
Durable Goods Orders Fell Fourth Straight Month and Fourth-Quarter Housing Market Conditions Remain Bleak More ...

Housing has been down for what, three years now? (Going into its fourth year)

Isn’t it curious the same ‘happy talk’ crowd totally ignores the single largest factor here and that factor is the LACK OF QUALIFIED BUYERS!

Mr. Williams (of shadow stats) measures the economy the ‘old fashioned way’, this is why his figures don’t ‘jive’ with the bullshit ‘official’ ones.

How can our GDP be 3.2% when the gains in the ‘liars (stock) market’ are due to the Fed pumping up the price of, er, ‘assets’?

If we leave it to the bandits to determine what is or isn’t banditry, the abuse of power will always go ‘underreported’

Worse, the rampant ‘theft’ continues unabated.

We will soon encounter some ‘massive’ imbalances in the commodities markets that will threaten every government, even the most brutal dictatorship, around the planet.

Can this be stopped?

Like everything which has gone before, the answer is ‘yes and no’.

The ‘fuck you, pay me’ crowd CAN be stopped in their tracks BUT the people charged with executing this straight-forward task seem to be in the pay of the criminals, creating a conflict.

So once again we will all suffer needlessly for the greed of a few.

Zero Total Credit Expansion in 2009-10

Credit expansion in the private sector collapsed after 2008 with the financial sector leading the way  down by contracting over 15% in two years.   The federal government took over as its borrowing zoomed 76% after 2007.  Net-net, however, total credit outstanding has been flat in 2009 and 2010, at least until the end of the third quarter (latest data available).

It seems to me, therefore, that QE1 and QE2 have merely substituted for  some of the "money" that has been destroyed via debt defaults and should not in theory create overall inflationary pressures.  But markets are mostly psychological manifestations and not theoretical structures;  if punters believe new money is pouring out of the printing presses, then they bet accordingly and commodities - to name but one - rise in price.  That's what I call Quantum Finance or, Perception Creates Reality.

Looking at things from a longer-term perspective it is obvious that total debt (i.e. money) and prices should move together: if there is more money chasing goods and services prices will inevitably rise.  Commodity prices have tripled in the last ten years (see chart below - click to enlarge).

which brings us back to today’s ‘theme’, if you will. Allow the criminals to determine what is or isn’t a crime and soon you have all manners of , er, ‘anti-social’ behavior protected by law.

Vigilance is much easier said than done, worse, the ‘guard dog’ is so old it is both totally blind and deaf (along with being toothless.)

Depending on how you look at it good citizen, it is either too late or too soon to replace it.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Genesis

Greetings good citizen,

Today’s offering is from the ‘neverending’ chronicles of Genesis:

The Sarasota-Bradenton metropolitan area, a two-county sprawl of condominiums, marinas and retirement homes, saw the proportion of people living below the poverty line rise by more between 2007 and 2009 than any other big city in America, from 9.2% to 13.7%, according to the Census Bureau. Nor is Sarasota an aberration. All the other metropolitan areas that saw jumps of four points or more are also formerly fast-growing southern and western cities: Bakersfield, California; Boise, Idaho; Greenville, South Carolina; Lakeland, Florida and Tucson, Arizona. Arizona now has the second highest poverty rate in the nation, after Mississippi. The especially severe housing bust that ended the breakneck growth of these sunbelt cities has brought with it deprivation on a scale they have never previously encountered and are struggling to address.

Were we to re-write this article to correct the glaring omissions it would read something like this:

As the Rustbelt turned from being the engine of the nation’s economy into a literal desert, the fleeing populace naturally gravitated toward the lower paying (but also cheaper to afford) sunbelt.

The sunbelt was growing while the Rustbelt was dying, so you wouldn’t be off-base to suggest that the ‘refugees’ were being ‘herded’ to the south in an unnatural reverse migration.

The above article seems to suggest that the mass migration south was driven by now shattered Real Estate market, belying the fact that few would voluntarily move to the ‘zero-tolerance’ South.

Although reality dictates that people will suffer much to enjoy tolerable weather conditions…which sort of creates a double rationale, it’s what makes the locals jerks as well as why people put up with them.

Sadly, there is another ‘trade-off’ to endure when hunting a more favorable climate. You may not freeze to death but in exchange you are obliged to ‘feed the bugs’ because they like it warm too.

So, what is ‘really’ driving the uptick in poverty across the ‘sunbelt’ states?

It is, without doubt, the desertification of the nation’s heartland/economy.

And no amount of ‘education OR investment’ is going to alter that.

The only force capable of making ‘the (economic) desert’ flower once again is the LAW.

(But from a sustainability point of view it is probably a good idea to shift most of the population as far south as possible, if only for the energy savings.)

But, as things are shaping up, it is unlikely there will be a ‘resource shortage’ in the mid-distant future, after much of the ‘surplus population’ has succeeded in eliminating itself.

(No irony should be lost on the fact that by attempting to wipe out the poor, the rich will only succeed in wiping themselves out.)

How odd is it that they are currently sitting as good as it is ever going to get?

But this isn’t about them, it’s about US!

This whole shooting match takes on a different perspective if we view ourselves as the current ‘version’ of the original ‘Native population’.

Cowboys and Indians, a game they seem to never tire of…although the Cowboys never did very well against the Indians, it was the Army (an especially robust one after the civil war) that put an end to the Native’s ‘self-determination’.

No irony should be lost on the fact that your power to ‘choose’ has been lost as well.

The ‘ballot box’ only works for the (very well-connected) Cowboys, you Indians get to play the ‘fuckees’ again.

Thus are the chronicles of Genesis ‘never-ending’.

Same as it ever was…(although I think this time the Cowboys have bitten off more than they can chew.)

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Economic Miracle

Greetings good citizen,

There’s been a considerable amount of ‘Happy Talk’ being served up by the corporate owned media which (as usual) contradicts the facts you can easily see for yourself.

For all of the ceaseless ‘yap’ about an ‘economic rebound’ (they’ve been ‘jaw-boning’ the recovery for more than three years now) some have noted that the SOTU address didn’t even mention the foreclosure crisis.

If you want your socks knocked off, hit the link at the bottom which shows in graphic detail just how, er, ‘virulent’ the crisis is.

One in nine houses in foreclosure (in a specific urban area) is a shitload of houses no matter how you slice it.

Which is to ask, how can there be an economic recovery if the primary source of the average citizen’s wealth continues to erode into worthlessness?

Not to put too fine a point on it good citizen but your home is only worth what a willing buyer is capable of paying you for it. Workers in the ‘new economy’ don’t have sufficient income to finance the purchase of a pup tent, never mind scrape up the 20% down on a quarter of a million dollars.

Thus are prices (as well as your ‘net worth’) falling like a rock.

Naturally, this is only half the battle.

The ceaseless lies (that economic recovery is just around the next corner) are a manifestation of this irreparable breakdown in civic trust.

Economists be damned, those fools have no clue what happens when the ‘glue’ that holds society together breaks down.

They (stupidly) think the glue that binds society is money…but they’re wrong, the glue that holds society together is ‘trust’.

And all of the money in the world can’t buy an ounce of it.

Worse, the kind you have to buy isn’t worth having…because you can never really trust it!

Far worse than a world without money is a world without trust, an environment most humans do poorly in. We aren’t wired for the ‘kill or be killed’ world, which is what the criminals are banking on.

Those who don’t value honor neither have nor deserve trust.

Bad place to be in a ‘kill on sight’ world.

Time to alter course a little to touch upon the subject of trust.

Most of us don’t trust strangers (although we will, oddly, believe them when they tell us something because they have no known reason to lie to us.)

What we do ‘trust’ is institutions.

Right, wrong or indifferent, we put our trust in institutions (even though they are run by strangers!)the point being we trust institutions to be fair-minded and even handed...when that turns out not to be the case, we expect a legal remedy.

in light of recent events, the airwaves are alive with rhetoric about new laws to control guns, laws that would be totally unnecessary if we had a vigorous justice system.

If the legal system operated the way it is supposed to, the average person would not feel the need to take the law into his or her own hands.

Locally, a police chief resigned ahead of the release of a report that implicated him in several crimes as well as numerous incidents of behavior unbecoming of a police officer (never mind the chief!)

If we can’t ‘trust’ the people entrusted to protect us, were screwed!

If we shift the spotlight back to the national stage, having a ‘turncoat’ president isn’t making the situation any better.

If we can’t trust the people we elect to lead us…who can we trust?

But you don’t need no steenkin’ trust, do you good citizen?

Because you eat what you kill.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Infinite optimism

Greetings good citizen,

It’s hard to tell which is worse, yesterday’s yearning for body armor or today’s howling like a madman over the gross willful ignorance being served up by the Corporate Owned media.

After thirty years of bending over backwards to ‘help’ the stagnant commercial sector of this nation overcome the self-inflicted wound of ‘market saturation’, I find it incredible that the ‘nitwit in chief’ (actually his puppetmasters) think ‘more of the same’ bullshit that put us where we are today will, er, ‘fix’ our rapidly expanding economic desert.

IF you are old enough to remember when all of this started then you remember hearing that the stock markets were stagnant because there wasn’t anywhere to expand, the markets for western goods were completely saturated.

Sort of like today but now that saturation is global.

There’s no more road to kick the can down, but then, like now, you’ll NEVER hear a capitalist admit that!

Instead you’ll get bullshit like this…

“We need to out-innovate, outeducate and outbuild the rest of the world,” he said. “We have to make America the best place on earth to do business. We need to take responsibility for our deficit and reform our government. That’s how our people will prosper.”

Naturally good citizen, there’s something missing from the above statement, a limiting clause if you will because it should be painfully obvious at this point in the game that we are not all going to prosper.

No, the ‘prizes’ will remain the same; drink the kool-aid, keep your mouth shut and do what your told and you get to come back tomorrow and do it again, until they decide they don’t need you anymore.

YOUR job has become THEIR hostage, and THAT should piss you off to no end!

Sort of redefines the term ‘my way or the highway’, doesn’t it?

Here’s the thing:

You become dependent upon ‘a job’ so you can ‘earn’ what you need to survive.

If there are no suitable jobs then it falls to society to keep you alive.

Welcome to hell on Earth.

If there are ‘holes’ in the safety net that society provides, it’s not their problem, it’s yours!

Why should the safety net be any different than an employer’s wages? If you can’t live on ‘em, tough!

While I have brought up the subject of our commercial system being ‘unsustainable' as well as being ‘mismanaged’ I haven’t belabored the by-product of combining those two factors, which, as you can imagine, is sadistic cruelty.

Which really redefines the concept of ‘we can’t make you do it; we can only make you wish the fuck you did!’

Nothing like having your nuts in a vise, is there?

And this good citizen is the reason why you will find humans living in the most inhospitable places this planet has to offer, yes, freedom is THAT dear!

‘Civilization’ was intended to provide the remedy for man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. Unfortunately, the ‘architects’ keep fucking it up by letting the wrong crowd ‘tinker’ with their designs.

If we look back in history there doesn’t appear to be a system of government that can survive generational change. A hundred years is pushing the limit. Our current system is bullet-proof BECAUSE it is over 200 years old. The corruption has become so entrenched that ‘cleansing’ it isn’t possible.

Besides, the ‘founding premise’ was corrupt from the get go. Our system was designed from the beginning to EXCLUDE YOU from the decision making process. You only got to pick WHO made decisions in your name without ever consulting you.

And THAT’S how we got where we are today!

Some of you may have noticed that we have no remedy for a politician who fails to act in our interests AFTER they’ve been elected.

AND THERE’S NO WAY TO FIX THAT EITHER!

(Which is why I designed a new way!)

But I digress…

No one should be A.) particularly surprised by last night’s SOTU sell-out or B.) roped in by the empty promises of ‘bipartisanship’ that have yet to happen.

Worse is the recent announcement that since turning traitor to the causes that got him elected, the president has (miraculously) come up in the approval poll ratings.

How sad is it that we only have the CO media’s word for this unseemly turn of events. We are once again forced to ponder just who the fuck they polled to arrive at such an unlikely outcome?

Was it Fox News?

Oh, P.S. by the way, after viewing the most trusted source for news (Comedy central) and seeing Jon Stewart’s takedown of Fox News I am amazed there is still a Murdoch owned media outlet still standing.

What does it take, do they need to hit you over the head with a 2X4?

Anyway, part of me wants to scream in outrage and the other part of me thinks it is already too late to act because there’s no way in hell they’re going to keep it together once things start to fall apart.

Which brings us full circle to body armor…if you haven’t got some, get some!

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Body Armor

Greetings good citizen,

As I sit here contemplating how to get my hands on some (slightly used) body armor (preferably with as little blood on it as possible.) I marvel over the level of, er, ‘tolerance’ being displayed by the now huge number of people being pushed to the edge.

We have recently ‘suffered’ killer cold over the past couple of days (and it ain’t over yet despite having ‘warmed up’ enough to snow.)

We can only wonder if A.) the bodies have not yet been discovered or B.) those who froze to death were deemed ‘un-newsworthy’ by our politically sensitive, yet ‘tone deaf’ media.

Incredibly, there hasn’t been a single death reported. Does this mean nobody froze to death? I highly doubt it.

What’s more important good citizen, a few frozen poor people or the illusion that capitalism works (and if it doesn’t work for you, it’s your fault!)

The question here is would they lie to you to keep you believing the big lie?

That is not a question for me to answer but one you must answer yourself.

Speaking of lies were you wondering what was behind yesterday’s 108 point boost to the Dow? Well, wonder no more! Mr. Panzer supplies the most curious answers as he asks Recovery? What recovery?

When administering the collapse of our nation becomes a ‘growth market’ it is time to seriously question the effectiveness of those managing our affairs. (Never mind that it is long past time we did something about it!)

So yeah…body armor, because someone to dig a bullet out of your hyde will be hard to come by once the phones stop working and the lights go out.

Worse, you don’t want it just for your front, it’s your back that needs watching!

If you haven’t got some you should be thinking about how you can get some.

But enough said on that topic.

I know I’m not the only one watching with horror the growing disconnect between conditions on the ground and what the CO media reports.

I suspect the media is trying to provoke an attack that will provide cover for the ‘dissolution’ of our the current government.

Why ‘disappear’ the current government? Every criminal act they committed under the ‘old government’ will be legal under the new one, regardless of how short-lived it is.

Didn’t I comment during the Bush years that he looked ‘surprisingly confident’ that he would not be held accountable for his criminal actions?

At the very least he is a war criminal. I wonder what the ‘statue of limitations’ are on that?

Worse, just who the fuck dreamed up the kooky idea that if you’re not caught and prosecuted within a certain period of time, you’re home free? You don’t suppose it was the criminals, do you?

Does anyone need more evidence of just who is running this, er, lunatic asylum?

What was the dude who penned ‘with Liberty and Justice for all’ smoking?

Sort of re-defines the term ‘slogan’ doesn’t it? It’s just something you say that sounds good, stupid you if you actually believe it.

Well, what do you say good citizen, is it time for more Forrest Gump? (Stupid is as stupid does?)

As I have said before, I tend to believe a vast majority of you are smarter than you’re given credit for.

Better, given a free hand, you could build the kind of world our children would be proud of.

Step one towards that noble goal is removing the boot of the oppressor from your neck.

Hang ‘em high!

Leftovers

Greetings good citizen,

During the days I didn’t post last week I was not idle, I compiled the following load of stories for your, er, ‘edification and enlightenment.’

Since much of this stuff goes ‘stale’ fairly quickly my original impulse was to delete the whole mess and move on. But some of this stuff is too good to discard (without comment) so I’m going to use it rather than toss it.

Consider this the blogging version of ‘leftovers’.

Up first we have this article which falsely purports that Democrats are by definition ‘Liberal’ and therefore took an active role in combating the conservative destruction of the global economy.

So, the question is, “Where were the Democrats when this was going down?”

Or just how ‘relevant’ (given recent history) is that R or D behind a candidates name?

The fact remains that nobody within our political system went to the mats defending the rights of the exploited, not Democrats and certainly not Republicans.

It seems the current president has struck upon the problem facing our nation, that we have been too ‘unfriendly’ to business and that we need to become more competitive!

Just how fucking ‘tone deaf’ is this stupid son of a bitch?

What the fuck does numbnuts think has been going on for the past 30 years?

Seriously, just how the fuck does he think we got here anyway? I’d be real interested in hearing THAT fable…

But let us move on as there is more, er, pocket change to shuffle from one side to the other .

Naturally, I’m blind…does anyone actually see a ‘solution’ here?

How disturbing is it to you that the implication here is that our so-called ‘betters’ have been left to design and implement solutions that will (naturally) benefit them far more than it benefits the rest of us?

The question ‘how stupid do they think we are?’ continues to be answered in one word and that word is ‘profoundly’.

Actually good citizen, when playing others for chumps, the real regulating feature is their collective ability to actually do something about being cheated.

We (collectively) have no power to either arrest or punish the criminals among us because law enforcement is itself corrupt.

But what are you gonna do? (A rhetorical question, the answer is obvious.)

Moving on, we have this interesting piece that points us in the direction of how a fish rots, from the head down.

Here’s another reason why I keep shaking my proverbial fist at the corporate owned media. Their silence caused this!

For some extremely bizarre reason most people fail to grasp the reality of ‘class war’. The criminals among us are given a pass because they are thought to be more like us than dislike (which is true, BUT that’s not how THEY see it.)

This little ‘assumption’ on the part of the general public is very dangerous indeed mostly because it makes them turn a blind eye to a very real threat.

Speaking of threats Did I just say something about THE FUCKING CORPORATE MEDIA? Or should I ask you again how one tells the difference between a Republican and a Democrat?

They BOTH have huge yellow stripes running down their backs so that’s no help (the result of ‘in-breeding’.)

Why doconservative retards ( a comment that is unfair to retards)keep lobbing drums of nitroglycerine at our society? Which is another way of asking just who (besides our moronic president) thinks allowing individual States to declare bankruptcy (just so they can renege on their contractual obligations) is a good idea?

Methinks we are all learning that being articulate does not by any stretch of the imagination mean that one is overly honest.

Yes good citizen, in a world where everything is about to become prohibitively expensive we need to pay the people who mind our kids and keep the streets safe less. (So the CEO's have a bigger bonus pool to draw from!)

Here’s a theme we haven’t visited in a while, probably a good idea to refresh yourself, given recent global events. P.S. by the way, it was no ‘accident’, this shit is intentional...makes you wonder where James Bond is when you really need him?

Oh, that’s right, he works for these shitweasels!

Anyway, this is now old news but I didn’t want to let it pass without asking the obvious question: Stupid is as stupid does! Who thought THIS was a good idea?

Some of you may recall my prediction that we would be faced with some major ‘supply line’ collapses in the not too distant future, well it seems the future is now.

Talk about ‘re-runs’, here is a laundry list of all of the things I’ve been bitching about for time out of mind…and if I’m not mistaken, it seems somebody’s actually pissed off about it!

Welcome to my world.

That said, I would be remiss if I failed to point out the ‘elephant in the room’, what a 53% total unemployment rate says about our system of commerce? (Which is also the primary system used for managing our society...)

Does the term “Hooray for me and fuck you” sound familiar?

It’s rope and lamp post time!

We cannot survive as a society using a system that purposefully excludes more than 50 % of our people.

Why are we still saddled with this turkey of a system? Because the ‘entrenched wealth’ benefits from its continuance, if you don’t like it, tough.

Which are ‘fightin’ words’ where I come from.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Movie Review

Greetings good citizen,

Tonight’s piece is 95% Movie Review combined with some unparalleled social insight that doesn’t really kick in until page two…so if you tuned out before then, you missed the good stuff entirely.

Not having seen either flick I’ll have to bow to Mr. Rich’s judgement but that said, there’s a lot of truth to the expression that tells us how art often imitates life.

Probably why my screenplays will never see themselves interpreted either on stage or screen. The people who pay for such things are somewhat sensitive about the type of material they will fund. (Although I’ve seen dreck get funded so it isn’t ‘quality’ that drives the decision-making process out there under the ‘brain cloud’ over LA.)

Seems to be ‘ego’ if you ask me…some reasonably insecure ones at that.

One of the tight-ropes that I refuse to walk is cardinal rule number one, don’t write anything that will directly offend the money.

Almost all of my screenplays skewer either the rich thieves or ridicule how money is worshiped by society.

But enough about me, let’s move on to that damn liberal media and how Mr. Obama is trying to make himself into Bill Clinton, the best Republican president we’ve had in a hundred years!

Allegedly, the upcoming State of the Union Address will focus on establishing Mr. Obama’s bona fides as a true blue ‘centrist’.

Now I ask you good citizen, what do we call someone who bends over backwards to, er, ‘help’ Big Business (while bending the workers/voters over and stuffing them like a Thanksgiving turkey) for those same commercial lions?

Isn’t the word for that kind of behavior Republican?

Did dipshit make a ‘mistake’ and run under the wrong political party?

Um, not necessarily, we didn’t get where we are today without a lot of willing cooperation from the party formerly known as the Democrats.

Isn’t that the one thing that everybody (who draws a paycheck) in this country is upset about, how the ‘owner/investor class’ keeps getting tax breaks and investment incentives and NOT FUCKING ONE OF THEM IS INVESTING IN THE USA!

Am I dismissing the achievements of Mr. Zuckerberg?

Actually, yes, yes I am.

It is a damn dismal development when Wall Street hails the further advancement of Big Brother as a major commercial accomplishment.

But that only goes to show you just how ‘bankrupt’ our society has become…but you didn’t need me to tell you that.

They’re about to let the hollowed out shell of our former nation collapse under its own weight and there isn’t a damn thing you can do to stop it.

Worse, chances are good you won’t even know it happened, that’s how bad things have become.

This is how ‘the end’ appears to sneak up on you. You CAN see it coming IF you are willing to accept the idea that collapse is eminent.

The more interesting exercise will be in how long it takes for the rest of our society to wake up to the fact that they have been abandoned?

That’s the final step good citizen, the ‘artificial calm’ that has prevailed since our social model collapsed three years ago will disintegrate once ‘the guiding hand’ leaves the building.

Understand, ‘collapse’ will not be a ‘local event’, it will cascade around the globe.

And guess who will be waiting in the wings to pick up the pieces?

Yup, the same idiots who wrecked our civilization in the first place.

The ‘wild card’ here citizen is where will YOU be?

Will you be shivering in the cold, waiting for your master’s guiding hand to lead you back to your pathetic life? Or will you be united with your neighbors, waiting to finally bring these uncivilized slobs to justice?

The choice, quite naturally, is yours.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Greetings good citizen,

Please forgive the silence over the past few days, I have been busy with the hard reality of poverty. What you can't afford to pay for out of pocket has to be paid for in time. (In this case meaning I had to do it myself.)

I predicted not too long ago that there would be an ‘incident’ that proved to the public in no uncertain terms just ‘who’ the collective rest of us are up against.

If you have been paying any attention at all to what has been going on in this nation for the past ten years, you would already know that most US citizens (with the only logical exceptions being the oligarchs themselves) believe the nation is on the ‘wrong track’.

Seldom mentioned (never mind verified) by the MSM is just what ‘wrong track’ is it that most of us want to turn away from.

Oddly, you NEVER see anyone interviewed and asked, although anyone could tell you, (well, almost anyone, a conservative would be clueless as they spouted off about ‘Damn liberalism’.)

What do you suppose the answer would be, considering you’ve been listening to the, er, ‘progressive agenda' for the past fifteen years?

Would that ‘wrong path’ be the path of ‘Corporatism’?

Make no mistake about it good citizen, it is indeed ‘Corporatism’, the reckless pursuit of profits, often by sacrificing the greater good. The ‘raping’ of our civilization while the few reap the rewards…ironically, rewards they don’t need OR deserve, these reckless assholes already have more than can use or spend.

So what the fuck is the point?

I have explained elsewhere in previous posts about how it is my opinion that the both selfish and remorseless elite is planning to ‘exterminate’ as much of the ‘surplus population’ as possible to maintain the ‘status quo’.

Here past performance will accurately predict future actions.

Why do you think we have been in a state of perpetual war since WW II, er, wound down?

Anyway, if ‘Corporatism’ is the problem then this sure as hell ain’t the solution

Left to our collective imaginations good citizen is how an obviously intelligent and articulate individual can even for a split second think THIS IS WHAT HE WAS ELECTED TO DO!

NOBODY is THAT TONE DEAF!

Which leaves us to arrive at the only other possible conclusion, that he deliberately mislead us so that we’d vote for him.

How much more obvious could it be considering Mr. Immelt is the immediate successor to the man who single-handedly ruined the global economy? (Yes, good citizen, Neutron Jack Welsh is responsible for starting the 'global race to the bottom', which some fucktards dubbed the 'search for excellence'...assholes!)

What do you think the chances are that Mr. Obama will ‘win’ re-election?

If he does get re-elected, it will only prove that the elections are rigged and the ballot box is worthless.

In retrospect, only the bloviating conservatives actually believe that their vote counts.

This has more to do with the nature of stupidity than anything else, while ignorance can be cured, stupid is permanent. Conservatives believe what they want to believe because they want to believe it.

Back to the beginning…this is what I was talking about, this is what we are up against.

If the man who rode a populist wave into the White House thinks he can stab the whole nation in the back and get away with it, what does this say about our obviously ‘captive government’?

Are our elected representatives ‘victims’?

I’d opine the answer to that one is, in most cases, no. These people are taking a ‘calculated risk’ while fully aware that they are committing treason with every vote they cast.

They have obviously been assured that they won’t be prosecuted.

And they won’t be, until they are.

Because this shit CAN’T go on much longer, it is ‘intolerable’ as well as being extremely destructive.

The coming war will be vicious indeed, are you ready to fight?

I hope so.(Because if you are not directly plugged into the global 'income stream', you are a member of the 'surplus population'.)

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

The War on Sanity

Greetings good citizen,

Forgive me for 'paraphrasing' the title of Mr. Krugman's offering today but I felt his piece missed the mark by a considerable margin...such are the limitations of having to pass muster with an editor first.

Imagine my posts being required to pass muster with an editor, the unfortunate person assigned to that unforgiving task would probably have a nervous breakdown every day!

Speaking of which:

Seems the media is doing all it can to build its case against the Tucson Assassin (the case that he was a whacko BEFORE he went on a rampage and how Republican rhetoric had absolutely nothing to do it. Despite Jerky’s endless quoting of Glenn Beck, which is probably ‘just a coincidence’…)

Hey, he lived in a Red State; ‘full immersion’ was to be expected…

How fucking sad is THAT?

Unsurprisingly, the editor of the Local Rag used his bully pulpit to chime in on how the ‘haters’ over at Daily Kos were simply using the incident as a cheap trick to silence their ‘ideological opponents’.

To be a ‘true conservative’ you must automatically reject anything posted on the (heavily Libertarian, not ‘liberal’) Daily Kos.

Which is bizarre considering everybody knows that if you cross a Republican with a Libertarian, you get a Tea Partier!

Worse, a Democrat who claims to be a Libertarian is merely displaying his blatant ignorance of either ideology. (And guess what Kos claims to be…yup, ignorant!)

The two (concepts/ideologies) are polar opposites and can only co-exist in the ‘nothing go up top’ mind of a Libertarian.

But it seems we have more pressing problems than ‘fake’ Democratic web sites that ubiquitously push a conservative agenda.

[Anyone who would keep you locked into an obviously corrupt system IS NOT your ‘friend’.]

Do you get my point good citizen? The fucking oligarchs are busy shadow-boxing themselves, a distraction to prevent you from tuning out and rebelling against their obvious ‘hype’.

Full disclosure: I was ‘chased off’ the Daily Kos site four years ago by the (then) decidedly Libertarian ‘staff’.

So, to me, ‘Progressive’ = ‘Libertarian’.

Funny how those who would block change insist that they are on the side of ‘progress’…

Worse is how the status quo keeps re-inventing itself as the ‘opposition’.

There is perhaps one method of determining the ‘reliability’ of the media and that is how the truth is often stranger than fiction.

Have you noticed how the news is often ‘too smooth’? The stuff that ordinarily would make the paper worth reading has been purposefully deemed ‘un-newsworthy’, while stuff you could care less about routinely vies for your already shattered attention.

Sure, the headlines are ‘outrageous’ until you get into the story and realize that this is the same ‘bogeyman’ the press was all excited about two years ago.

Worse is the tendency to ‘re-tread’ old news, same bullshit, different day.

How many times will they kill ‘the number 2 man’ in Al Quida (of Podunk)?

Must be a ‘cursed’ job because they are ALWAYS killing that poor son of a bitch!

Which only makes their lack of success when it comes to eliminating the number one man that much more, er, curious? Do the self-professed ‘Hawks’ REALLY want Osama dead?

Doesn’t look like it from here.

Left to your imagination good citizen is whether or not they are EVER going to succeed in, er, ‘eliminating’ the now aged leader of Arab terrorism?

Since killing Osama would jeopardize the trillions being spent to, er, what the hell are we trying to accomplish over there again? Doesn’t matter. Killing Osama (at this point in the game, he’s damn near dead anyway,) would require we ‘manufacture’ his replacement, if only to keep the ‘gravy train’ rolling.

Since we are now ten years into the aptly named ‘long war’, if you are incapable of seeing how this whole fucking adventure was nothing but a ‘cash machine’ for the paranoid right, you are some kind of stupid!

Now how ‘confident’ are you that the right actually won re-election last November?

The fact that we’re still there and NOBODY can define what victory looks like is enough to convince any SANE individual NOT to vote Republican…and yet our media insists we did (fucking liars!)

Not that the ‘actors’ who represent us have any real ideology. The do what their ‘sponsors’ tell them to do, confident that the Secret Service will take out most of the incompetents who attempt to assassinate them.

Most is probably as good as its going to get…for now. Soon nothing will be up to the job and going out in public will be a non-starter, not just for some but all of them.

The ‘quality’ of our representation has been found lacking and ‘the governed’ might just withdraw their ‘consent’.

But our lack of history with revolt leaves the incumbents with a mighty advantage. Oddly, the first rebellion is always the hardest.

Maybe we should have paid closer attention to the Whiskey Rebellion back when the people of this nation, fresh from Europe, were more able to readily recognize tyranny than the people of today are.

Considering the warped and twisted bullshit we are all spoon-fed from birth, most of us wouldn’t recognize tyranny if we were forced to watch our own parents be drawn and quartered for insulting a capitalist.

THAT’S when you know the ‘elite’ have become ‘entrenched’.

What’s wrong with this picture is that we no longer have any idea as to how to deal with this unseemly turn of events.

But you didn’t need me to tell you that.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

The Wrong Conversation

Greetings good citizen,

I’ve been toying with the idea of writing a fourth book, my second non-fiction piece.

As time runs out (and it surely will) it is unlikely to attract enough attention to alter the course we’re on but, by my way of thinking, it will only take a small cadre of ‘true believers’ to set society back on the right track.

Hell, look at the progress made by the original ‘Sons of Liberty’ and the difficulty the oligarchs have had ‘bastardizing’ their legacy, initially through complacency and then through deceit.

The key to this whole fuckaree lies in money and whether you realize it or not, money is still very much ‘open to interpretation’ (which SHOULD scare the fuck out of you!)

Isn’t the oligarch’s main argument centered on ‘taxation’?

They even revived a (clueless) ‘Tea Party’ to combat paying their ‘fair share’. How ironic is it that the nation’s wealthiest people are behind the so-called ‘tax revolt’?

The important part to keep in mind here good citizen is this IS NOT about money, it’s about CONTROL (because whosoever controls your money controls YOU!)

Which is to point out like so many others have tried (and failed because they too are clueless) we aren’t having the ‘right conversation’ in this society of ours.

We’ve become so preoccupied with the symptoms (thanks to the clueless) that we have ignored the disease!

Which is to point out the highly ‘artificial’ nature of the calamity that threatens to utterly destroy our civilization.

NONE of what is coming is real OR necessary.

The part that should piss everybody off is the fact that all of this is one giant rip-off!

I won’t tell you what I think we should do to the responsible parties (and there are a considerable number that share the blame.)

Worse, the assholes are doing this KNOWING that the loot won’t do them any good.

Like I have said numerous times before, this isn’t about money, it is about ‘stretching out’ their power beyond its ‘natural’ end (and the only way to do that is to kill off a shitload of the ‘surplus population’.)

And guess what good citizen? If you work for a paycheck, YOU are a member of the ‘surplus population’.

Think about it good citizen, the ‘wealthy’ need only a few ‘useful idiots’ to do the ‘grunt work’ of keeping the lights on and the planes in the air. A few hundred to work the ‘plantation’ that grows their food and the feed of their livestock.

Naturally, a few doctors and enough guards to keep the grunts at arms length and we’d have, er, ‘oligarch’s Utopia!’

Worse, it would probably be modeled on Plato’s vision of the ideal society, where there was a ‘place’ for everyone and everyone knew their place. (As frightening as that would be in reality.) Social mobility would be a total non-starter, if you were born a grunt, you’d die a grunt and like it.

Yeah, in oligarch Utopia, money would be unnecessary, as the currency of the realm would be life itself. If you did what you were told you got to live another day.

THAT good citizen is the ‘danger’ we face from letting socio-paths manage our affairs.

They don’t need us nearly as much as they fear us.

If given the opportunity, they’d kill off as many of us as they could and take their chances with the rest.

Which is a really bad plan because the survivors aren’t likely to be particularly ‘forgiving’.

But one quick look around is enough to tell you what terrible planners the oligarchs are.

While they (remarkably) get things done (they are very capable at delegating,) they leave the execution of their goals to those they delegate the task to (who are, unsurprisingly, much more competent than they are.)

And now we come full circle to ‘useful idiots’.

It’s sort of an interlocking thing, isn’t it? It is not possible to fix our badly broken socio-political system if we are unable to have a rational dialog on the subject.

Now think about why certain parties are VERY interested in preventing that dialog from taking place?

Because if we EVER began having an open discussion about the way things SHOULD BE the miscreants responsible for the current fiasco would be behind bars before the day was through!

There is one VERY IMPORTANT fact the, er, con men running this scam NEED you to remain ignorant of, they need you to remain ignorant of the fact that WE (meaning all of us) ARE THE LAW!

As long as they keep you convinced that you are powerless, you will remain powerless and their reckless disregard for the well-being of our species will continue unabated.

And you don’t want THAT, do you good citizen?

I didn’t think so.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

What (a) Recovery (?)

Greetings good citizen,

We’re into the second week of the New Year and it seems some people are still in a reflective mood.

Ilargi hasn’t come to the realization that all money is funny, always has been and (A Simple Plan aside) always will be.

Naturally, I need to explain my reason for exempting my own scheme from the ‘funny money’ set from which no currency or currency substitute can escape.

Did I just contradict myself…yes…and no. Money under A Simple Plan will still be ‘funny’ BUT it will NOT serve to enrich the individual at the expense of society, a weakness every other form of currency shares.

I’m sure THAT cleared everything up, didn’t it?

Inflation, deflation…two sides of the same blunt instrument and both have the exact same cause, a ‘lack of faith’ either in the instrument itself or the institution behind the instrument.

As I have been saying for years now, the real ‘danger’ facing civilization is the loss of faith in the institutions that keep the lights on and the water running…essentially leading to a collapse of the supply chain.

Shorthand: you cannot afford to keep providing either goods or services to someone whose method of payment is questionable.

Understand: the entire global banking network is kept functioning via ‘creative accounting’ (and this is due to theft on the part of those who ‘own’ banks. How lucky is it for them that they also ‘own’ the government?)

You wouldn’t continue to surrender your labor to an employer who ‘bounces’ your paychecks any more than you would continue to buy a commodity from a merchant that routinely overcharges you.

But when they all start ‘skinning you alive’ it becomes a question of how long you can remain solvent, how much you can give up before ‘must comply’ intrudes, wrecking your already precarious finances.

Which leads us to more creative accounting that forms the basis for ‘the new normal’, a radically smaller economy where fewer people prosper while more are thrown onto the ‘surplus’ heap.

Left for your curious mind to decipher is how the ‘useful idiot’ is separated from the less useful one (when age isn’t a factor.)

Is this determined by their willingness to ‘drink the Kool Aide?’

Which leaves us with the disturbing question of whether or not we want to live in a nation of ‘useful idiots’?

El Rushbo seems to think so.

The thing to keep in mind good citizen is split in this nation is NOT 50-50; it’s 20-80 with the neo-conservatives holding the short straw.

It is, ironically, the same split the ‘new normal’ is shooting for, 20% of us working while the rest suffer extreme poverty.

So what is your ‘goal’ good citizen?

Will you help the majority overcome the minority that is conspiring to enslave them or will you do your ‘patriotic duty’ and defend the indefensible?

The global elite awaits your answer…

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Brain Damaged

Greetings good citizen,
I don’t know what to say but ‘’opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.”

Turns out I’m not the only one who took exception to this piece from today’s NY Times

Posited therein we have this (contested) opinion of a majority of US Citizens:

Almost half (47%) of Americans say China is the world’s leading economic power, while just 31% name the U.S. Three years ago — prior to the global economic crisis – only 30% characterized China as the global economic leader, compared with 41% for the U.S.

Just how strong do they mix the Kool Aide at the NY Times these days? Should we give Mr. Leonhardt a ‘pass’ because he is an economic columnist and is therefore, by default, clueless?

He goes on in the article to defend the United States number 1 status by omitting the fact that he’s NOT comparing apples to apples. The fact that the Chinese Yuan buys four times what a US dollar buys tips the scales decidedly in China’s favor.

The whole charade is an exercise in creative accounting. Truth be told, the cheaper there CAN’T exist because ALL money is ‘funny’.

The cheaper there is a legal fiction created by the financial sector (For the benefit of the elite.)

This fact leads to some extremely disturbing asides concerning the, er, competence of the individuals who manage our affairs…people you and I have zero control over.

Worse, the people who do have SOME authority over these thieves are in the thieves pay!

Did I mention the badly broken ‘justice system’?

Which, naturally, leads us to the disturbing question of just how reliable is the (allegedly) most liberal of the mainstream media outlets?

Two major credit ratings agencies warned Thursday that the United States might tarnish its triple-A credit rating if its national debt kept growing.

It was not the first time the agencies, Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s Investors Service, warned that the nation’s gilt-edged rating might fall into jeopardy.
But the two statements, made within hours of each other, were seized on by deficit hawks as further evidence that the government must reduce spending and debt to avert disaster. That is just what many Tea Party supporters insist.

Okay, so just how big a threat is the 33,000 strong Tea Party? Actually a pretty big one if we consider that the people behind this decidedly unpopular movement are BILLIONAIRES!

So it really doesn’t matter what the rest of us think, this is THEIR land and if you don’t like how they run it, LEAVE.

Hey, wait a minute, isn’t this just what Jefferson warned us about? How someday we’d find ourselves being evicted from the very land our forefathers fought to liberate?

Don’t look now Bud but we’re already there.

Between the thieving banks and the conniving capitalists we have become (unwelcome) tenants in our own nation.

I preach to the choir when I point to the inevitable consequences of ‘doing nothing’.

Speaking of doing nothin’, the same ‘general public’ who (correctly) believes that the Chinese economy has ‘eclipsed’ the doomed US economy is also aware that nothing has been done to correct the economic imbalances that threaten our civilization along with the entire Western way of life.

1933 All Over Again

Until there is reform, significant changes, nothing will work and there will be no sustainable recovery. Trickle down ultimately leads to debilitating and widening social dislocations (homelessness, unemployment, poor health) that are highly unproductive.

The question, quite naturally is whether or not those who hope to escape prosecution for their treachery WANT the current situation ‘corrected’.

Without a 4th Estate that is willing to keep the Elite in check we have no ‘evidence’ that we can use to combat those who would sell us onto bondage for their own benefit.

Not that the evidence isn’t there, out in plain sight for all to see.

I point to it regularly, for all the good it does.

I know I’m hard to share, most people don’t appreciate my level of bluntness, but, with that said, at last look I am the ONLY ONE with a PRACTICAL, WORKABLE solution.

The ‘re-engineering of mankind’ is unnecessary with A Simple Plan.

The sooner we get started, the better off we’ll all be.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

The incredible shrinking economy

Greetings good citizen,

Didn’t we determine during the recent mid-term elections that the Tea Party was only 33,000 strong?

Now consider that while you ponder the impossibility of the Republican (Tea Party) victory in the mid-terms that returned control of the House back to the party of ‘no’.

As I have stated before, the Corporate owned media preformed that little bit of ‘sleight of hand.’ And it’s still going on by their ongoing ‘charade’ that there are more conservative voters than the voter registration records say there are.

A vast majority of ‘Independent’ voters are disgruntled Democrats, not , er, ‘militant Conservatives’.

Democrats, even former Democrats know that conservatives ruin the economy (while making the rich richer.) It’s what they do. Trickle Down theory is exactly how it works for these traitorous turncoats…although that’s not a fair description because the term ‘turncoat’ implies that they were once trustworthy.

Sadly you can’t trust a conservative as far as you can throw them…which is to imply that you can throw them further than you can trust them.

tonight’s first offering leads me to suspect that the subject is difficult to write about (because there are so few articles that explore this, er, ‘symptom’ of civic collapse.

The Violence of the Broken Economy

Other nations have a history of violence associated with their sitting governments, that is not the case here in the US of A. We, like Japan, are a nation of ‘law abiding citizens’ (which is not to discount the crooks who rule us, I’m talking about the majority here.)

Thanks to those same self-interested crooks we have the incredible shrinking economy to deal with. There is new evidence showing No jobs for more than three out of four unemployed workers

Dunno if the conservatives got wind that this article was in the pipeline but there was a recent flurry of denial regarding what has come to be known as ‘the new normal’.

It’s not the undefined Liberals who keep insisting there’s nothing wrong with the economy but the conservatives, who are forever bitching about the wrong things and constantly wondering why it’s all so screwed up?

Not to throw stones, mind you. The Liberal side of the argument is just as ‘tone deaf’ as the conservative side is. here’s just one example of how far off the mark mainstream opinion is on the topic of the economy.

How unfortunate is it that the economy is incapable of ‘fixing’ itself.

Worse, how much do you want to bet that this will be touted as what needs to be done to set us back on the path to prosperity?

This is even more asinine than thinking that extending the Bush tax cuts will promote more job creation.

If they haven’t done the job for five years, what makes them think two more will turn the trick?

Is this yet another example of ‘stupid is as stupid does?’

Well don’t look now but ‘stupid’ is running things around here…and there ain’t a fucking thing you can do about it.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Snow Day

Greetings good citizen,

Spent today battling ‘planned obsolescence’, the electric start on my snowblower shit the bed but (and it turned out to be a one time deal) the pull starter worked on the first pull. So, the first 18 inches were removed mechanically.

Just spent the last two hours trying to get the starter motor to work because Hercules isn’t strong enough to pull start that stubborn bastard.

Looks like I’ll spend some time tomorrow with the service department at the place I bought the sum bitch to figure out what its going to take to fix the damn thing.

Worse, it’s still snowing out there.

Oh fucking well.

The ‘idiot barometer’ (a.k.a. the stock market) was up again today and as usual this was due to nothing you could discern as increased commercial activity.

Perhaps more interesting is how long these boobs think they’re going to get away with doing nothing while pretending everything is fine.

There’s a question to ask yourself good citizen…IS everything ‘fine’?

Naturally, the answer depends on how you define the purpose of commerce. If commerce exists to enrich its owners, then everything is indeed ‘fine’.

If commerce exists to facilitate participation within a society by satisfying the needs of that society then things aren’t quite where they should be.

Thus should we all find this ‘pretend’ thing more than just a little ‘disturbing’.

You see, the elite can afford to pretend for a damn long time, a hell of a lot longer than you can.

They can keep pretending, all the while beating you down by ‘devaluing’ the money supply until long after you’re dead and gone, your children locked up because they became common criminals just to survive.

Yup, that’s how it’s gonna go down if you keep doing ‘nothing’.

Speaking of ‘doing nothing’, how long is it going to take until to finally realize that the ballot box doesn’t do your bidding? You will NEVER be offered a ‘desirable’ choice…and if you are it will turn on you just like the current occupant of the White House has.

A system that only serves the upper reaches of a society is broken and needs to be abandoned, it can’t be fixed.

The only ones who want to fix it are the ones who broke it in the first place.

Sadly good citizen, life is hard enough without having to ponder whether or not you are already in hell…

It has been a long day and tomorrow holds more, difficult challenges…

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gun Control

Greetings good citizen,

I’m all through beating myself up for being part of the problem rather than part of the (mythical) solution.

So why is it the most common knee-jerk reaction always ends up in some sort of ‘gun control’ diatribe?

Gun control is being able to hit your target.

Or, as is once again the case, as soon as their insane rhetoric produces its most likely out come, conservatives immediately turn Egyptian and the De-nial begins.

‘He was just some nutjob, hell, anything could have set him off…anything!’

So I ask you good citizen, do you know ‘why’ we have people living on the edge, ready to go off at the slightest provocation?

What do you suppose is the ‘cure’ for this seemingly incurable conundrum?

Should we round up all of the guns and dump them in the ocean (followed closely by all of the knives [edged weapons of any sort] and baseball bats?)

Since I can kill you just as quick with my bare hands, is mandating that everyone wear a straight-jacket the answer or should we cut to the chase and simply mandate muzzles?

Neither outlawing nor licensing the ‘tools’ to commit mayhem has yet to succeed in decreasing the tide of violence that is overwhelming our civilization, so where do you suppose the answer lies?

Ya got nuthin, right?

Let’s return to this old chestnut, shall we?

Without equality there can be no justice and without justice there can be no peace…and without peace there can be no prosperity.

You don’t suppose the ‘solution’ to an overly violent society lies in ‘equality and justice’ do you?

You don’t suppose we have so many, er, ‘frustrated’ individuals walking around, ready to commit mass-murder at the slightest provocation because these same people regularly get FUCKED and there isn’t a damn thing they can (legally) do about it?

THIS is the ‘ultimate outcome’ of living in a society with a badly broken ‘justice system’.

Conservatives are quick to start squawking about the ‘Nanny State’ here BUT laws designed to protect you from those who would cheat you are the only Nanny State laws the warped and twisted conservatives fret about.

These are the same assholes who would ‘bring back’ (because there used to be laws against such things) fines for not going to church on Sunday or vagrancy laws where the offender could be jailed if they didn’t have a certain sum of money on their person. (oops, in the Red States, you can be locked up today for what you don't have in your pocket...my bad. Sadly, this is NOT a 'coincidence'.)

Oh that pendulum do swing good citizen and guess which direction it's swinging in now?

Considering the Corporate owned media is conspiring to impose ‘conservative’ government upon us, you might want to start pondering what you can do about this unseemly turn of events.

What’s so bad about ‘conservative government’?

I suspect most of us will have a problem with it being a crime to be poor.

Stupid shit like this brought the world to the edge of civil war, which was ‘re-directed’ into a brutal World War…no irony should be lost on the fact that it was the ‘First’ World War.

The monarchies fell and ‘peace’ was restored…for a while.

Laugh if you want, but understand that most of the monarchs of old stepped off of their thrones and took up residence in their Treasuries.

Is it any wonder the ‘world of money’ is so fucked up today?

Not to drift ‘off-topic’ here, with that topic being barely restrained, widespread violence that is shredding the fabric of our society at the seams but I’d posit that it was a, er, ‘serious miscalculation’ not to strip the former monarchs of their, er, ill-gotten gains.

And a little ‘punishment’ would have been, ‘in order’ for most of them…considering the suffering they caused (‘beloved’ or not.)

History can be very enlightening if you brush aside the copious amounts of ‘whitewash’ used when writing history and give consideration to what was going on with the ‘average citizen’ at the time…

Sick as it is good citizen, the ‘repression’ that led to WWI is PRECISELY what the conservatives are ‘nostalgic’ for.

How unfortunate is it that conservatives aren’t big on ‘equality’ either? (This is mostly due to their ‘demonstrable’ better than us qualities, like their shoes are shinier than ours, thus they are not nor should they be considered our ‘equals’…despite bleeding that is virtually indistinguishable from that of the ‘ordinary’ person.)

This is even more serious than it appears because there isn’t any room for ‘live and let live’. YOU are inferior and must bow to their, er, ‘superior judgement’.

Notice how you won’t find conservatives making ridiculous proposals to toughen gun controls laws! (Even though the ‘rigidity’ of conservative values is behind much of our social violence…go figure?)

Typical conservatives want nothing to do with the only logical solution…so where does this leave you good citizen?

Gun control is being able to hit your target…

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

A Perfect World

Greetings good citizen,

I found myself staring in the mirror today accused of crimes against society.

Albeit, good citizen, ‘in a perfect world’ the scales of justice would operate as they are intended to and there would NEVER be a need to take ‘justice’ into our own hands.

Now we can all wonder just where we left the ‘perfect world’ where all one need do is petition the courts and justice would be served, hot and fresh!

Yes good citizen, funny thing about living in a society where ‘gold rules’, the ones with the gold make the rules and they can even exempt themselves from those rules!

So much for today’s ‘reality check’.

While I may point my weapon at certain institutions or ideologies, I have NEVER targeted a specific individual for violence.

Do I think ALL conservatives should be hung for treason? I most certainly do.

This is no more serious than conservatives calling for the ‘lynching of liberals’ (like any of them would know a liberal if they tripped over one…) I doubt the fact I’d be willing to give the conservatives a ‘fair trial’ makes it any different.

Um, this ‘call for order’ would be all fine and well IF this weren’t already ‘the broken land’…to call for order now is like demanding a trial after being captured by pirates, an exercise in futility.

We can all see precisely ‘where’ incidents like Saturday’s attempted murder of a sitting Congresswoman are leading us. If our politicians aren’t ‘safe’, the rest of us aren’t either.

I have opined repeatedly that as the fabric of society unravels, the protocols that prevent us from killing one another on sight wear ever thinner.

What do you suppose is going to happen when those protocols ‘disappear’?

Or, more pointedly, ‘when’ can we expect this to occur…and the answer is approximately 15 seconds after the catastrophic failure of the 911 network.

Worse, this is closer than you think…especially with the ‘tax cutting Republicans’ in charge of the budget.

No pay, no work is a fairly ‘universal’ concept. As ‘heroic’ as our law enforcement personnel are, they don’t do what they do out of the ‘goodness of their (immense) hearts’, they do what they do for what Republicans are now calling ‘highly inflated, union wages.’

Probably a good thing that there aren’t any jobs out there or most cops would simply ‘walk off the job’ once their paychecks were slashed to satisfy ‘budget constraints’.

(Which would be, totally artificial, given the ‘funny’ nature of money.)

Given how close we are to the day when there won’t be anything standing in the way of ‘politically motivated’ violence…hell, in some cases it won’t even be investigated. Is now a ‘good time’ to, er, ‘plea for restraint’?

We’d all like to live in ‘A perfect world’ but until that world comes along we have to deal with the one we’ve been stuck with. One that has drifted a long way from anything even remotely resembling ‘justice’.

How the ‘one in five’ crowd has become a ‘majority’ remains a ‘miracle of the media’ and understand it is THEY who are demanding that those who oppose their conservative agenda (the same agenda that brought us ‘Free Trade’) should be slain!

Is NOW really the time to ‘keep silent’?

It is if you WANT to see our society become an unopposed totalitarian oligarchy.

I am not accusing anyone of anything. Mr. Krugman is certainly correct in his appeal to our better nature, if only because once hell breaks loose, it will be a real son of a bitch to put it back in the bottle.

Most people aren’t eager to see our civilization collapse. History tells us things didn’t work out real well for the Romans when their society collapsed.

One of the parallels here is both civilizations were seriously in debt to the, er, ‘ruling class’, to the point where the oppressed Romans welcomed the barbarians as ‘saviors’ (at least initially. They soon learned the magnitude of their collective ‘miscalculation’.)

Our own current perilous circumstances prove that ‘peace’ often comes at far too dear a price. (We have done nothing while our nation has been ‘hollowed out’ all around us. At least the Native Americans fought back!)

You can try ‘loving’ the conservatives into submission but that hasn’t worked out too well so far. It seems simply ignoring them has proven ineffective too.

When they turn up on your doorstep with their torches and their pitchforks it will be a little too late to decide you should have fought fire with fire.

No one is contesting that in ‘A Perfect World’ it would be unnecessary to call for restraint. Justice would be swift and sure, insuring no one got away with what the oligarchs regularly get away with today.

Where the hell are those ‘men both good and true’ the founders were relying on to keep our nation ‘in balance’?

You don’t suppose they are all ‘napping’, do you?

Although what I heard was they were all ‘squeezed out’ during the Nixon years (and the ones Nixon didn’t get Reagan ‘mopped up’.

We need only look as far as Mr. Obama’s ‘stellar’ choices in cabinet appointments to see a Washington culture so polluted by corruption and special interests that it proves my theory that both the ‘D’ and the ‘R’ have been rendered meaningless. All ‘candidates’ come from the same in-bred pool consisting of the oligarch’s ‘lapdogs’ (‘yes men’ if you will.)

In a perfect world, we could demand justice be done and let ‘by-gones be by-gones’, do what needed to be done to put the country back on track and move forward.

But I don’t need to remind any of you that this is NOT, by any stretch of the imagination, a perfect world.

Hey, in my own defense, it is not MY FAULT that the penalty for treason is DEATH BY HANGING…I am, quite simply, calling for ‘justice’ to be done.

{The repeated charge of ‘treason’ (on my part) is based on the conservatives propensity to put their own interests ahead of the interests of society, which, by definition, IS treason. Their accusations of treason are based on their decidedly ‘twisted’ ideology of ‘hooray for me and fuck you!’}

Peace but NOT 'at any price'...)

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Let the attack(s) begin!

Greetings good citizen,

I have to ask, is this how a civilization dies? For the second time in as many months we have a media inspired assassination of politicians on the supposedly 'liberal' side of the fence.

Of course, what catches your eye about this article is the fact that this is another episode of a Fox News/conservative media ‘inspired’ attack…on a sitting US Congress woman…who happened to be guilty of being a Democrat.

Hell, even the link tells us in no uncertain terms that Sarah Palin ‘targeted’ her (allegedly for her support of healthcare reform, which is absolutely NO DIFFERENT from ROMNEY CARE here in Massachusetts. If you don’t have your scorecard handy, Romney is on the ‘R’ team.

So we have (brain damaged) conservatives, shooting Democrats for supporting Republican initiatives!

WTF!

How much ‘wackier’ is this shit going to get?

I (obviously) love to repeat myself so I will take this opportunity to remind you that conservatism has been found to be a MENTAL DISORDER!

The term ‘conservative nutcase’ is so universally recognized that one is often automatically associated with the other.

Aren’t you glad the Corporate owned media saw fit to hand the mid-term elections to the one-in-five conservatives?

Mathematically, they could not possibly have won…so what does that tell you?

You don’t suppose electoral victory rests in the hands of the people who ‘report’ the election results?

History will ask these and other questions we seem unprepared to cope with at the moment. (Assuming the collapse of our civilization doesn’t also eradicate our species…) Perhaps we wouldn’t be so helpless if the lacing on the straight-jacket were a little bit looser.

But no, instead we are left to ponder such conundrums as Just how tight is that damn muzzle?

It is ‘incongruent’ pieces like this, Where Mr. Rich slams the incumbent one week only to defend him the next, that make you wonder just how ‘rigid’ the editorial guidelines really are.

Job number one at the Corporate Owned media is to ‘keep the illusion alive’. You WILL NOT see anyone from ‘Happy Talk Central’ casting doubt upon our highly manipulated political process.

We’re in the election race season and the media HAS TO (at least pretend) that the incumbent has a chance.

I’m sure most of you are ‘mystified’ (as I was) by the recent announcement that Mr. Obama’s ‘favorability rating’ briefly eclipsed the 50% mark last week.

Naturally, when you hear (obvious bullshit) like this, the first thing that runs through your head is ‘who did they poll, his family?’

Polls, in and of themselves, present a broad array of ‘conditionalities’ that need to be met in order to be considered ‘valid’. It should come as no surprise that the vast majority of widely touted polls DO NOT MEET even a few of the basic conditions for validity.

This is also true of many of the heavily massaged ‘statistics’ the government reports, they have no basis in reality or are so conditional as to be irrelevant.

So, yes, good citizen…if we were to address the topic of just how bad the ‘lie’ situation is I’d have to venture that it has already ‘maxed out’ the bounds of credibility and is headed straight for the Rabbit Hole.

Haven’t you noticed how our daily discourse has become dominated by cries of ‘off with their heads’ (from many different directions.) Damn that Red Queen just doesn’t let up, does she?

The general public wants Wall Street and the Banking Sector to ‘walk the plank’ while the warped and twisted conservatives are poised to attack public sector employees for their ‘expensive benefits and high wages’.

Talk about ‘biting the hand that protects you’, ‘public safety personnel’ have the protection of ‘private property’ as their prime directive.

If a serial killer has you cornered in your house but you manage to get a call into 911, at the same time an alarm goes off at the local bank, and there is only one unit available to respond, guess which one gets priority?

Your death will be written off as a ‘tragic slaying' while the likely false alarm gets checked out.

Nothing personal, it’s just how our fucked up society is set-up. The money of the rich is more important than your life…even though the money is insured!

It’s not particularly rational and most of you would find it more difficult to decide if we changed it from an alarm at a bank to an intruder alert at one of the town’s biggest employers. Throw a pulled fire alarm in with that intruder alert and it’s perfectly justifiable…and just as fucked up.

The Law (which conservatives regularly choose to ignore or ‘mis-interpret’) is written to favor the protection of property over the protection of life.

Our legislators seem ‘obsessed’ with protecting you from yourself but their primary interest is protecting what they own from being destroyed out of revenge for regularly helping themselves to the contents of both your wallet AND the public till.

Pretty sorry state of affairs if you were to ask me…and just because YOU haven’t run afoul of the law ‘recently’ doesn’t mean you’re ‘safe’.

Take a good look around. That noose around your neck is there for a reason. If you don’t take it off, now, you are going to hang!

And guess what, not being able to see the noose doesn’t mean its not there!

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

What to do?

Greetings good citizen,

Most of you should be convinced by now that the current administration is nothing more than a pale imitation of the previous administration…not nearly as reckless as their predecessors but not even slightly interested in altering the disastrous course the ‘oligarchs’ have set the nation upon.

If you have ever wondered, no matter how fleetingly, what a ‘captive government’ would look like here in the (former) land of the free, you need look no further than the current administration for, were such a text to exist, a ‘textbook example’.

If you needed convincing that your vote was ‘worthless’, look at the current White House and see the ‘fruit’ of your choice in action. Look at the results and ask yourself just how different the promise was from the actual result.

Worse, there is nothing we can do about this, er, ‘treason’ until 2012…and then it is (unless somebody grows a gonad) very likely we’ll be saddled with this, er ‘disappointment’ in what will prove to be a very ‘critical’ election. (This is all predicated on the fact that the Republicans refrain from shutting down the government in a fit of pique sometime before summer arrives.) (I am still of a mind that this is how our 230 year old nation will meet its end, in the ‘abdication’ of legal power due to the failure to bring ANY of them to justice.

A Justice that nobody in Washington is particularly interested in seeing.

Being a ‘cracker’ I have to be careful how I criticize the current administration or risk having my critical comments dismissed as being ‘racially motivated’

However, one of my favorite columnists is not similarly ‘handicapped’ and here’s what he had to say:

Nearly 44 million people were living in poverty in 2009, which was more than 14 percent of the American population and a jump of four million from the previous year. Anyone who thinks things are much better now is delirious. More than 15 million children are poor — one of every five kids in the United States. More than a quarter of all blacks and a similar percentage of Hispanics are poor.

Are we doing anything about this? No. Our government officials, from the president on down, are too busy kissing the bejeweled fingers of the megarich. [snip]

[It gets better]

Welfare, even for the poorest of the poor, is not much help. More than 17 million people may be living in extreme poverty, but welfare, for most of the people who need it, was “reformed” right out of existence. [Thanks, Bill Clinton!] TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), which is what welfare is called now, helps far fewer people than welfare used to, even though the poor have been laid low by the worst economy since the Depression.

Hardly anyone cares. Hardly anyone even notices.

With the tax cuts for the rich saved and William Daley coming on board, the atmosphere is being readied for Obama & Co. to tap the fat cats for the zillions necessary for next year’s re-election run. And that, of course, is the only thing that really matters.

This, naturally, leads us to wonder just what we are going to do when 2012 arrives…should we all be rooting for the Mayan curse? Will civilization as we have come to know it already be ‘circling the drain’ come the elections?

What’s interesting this time around is how quiet it has been since the ‘mid-terms’. The media isn’t promoting ‘their’ candidates two full years ahead of time like they did for the 2008 election. Hell, the conservative gasbag-o-sphere was already clamoring for a ‘Hillary vs. McCain matchup all the way back to 2004!

The ‘damning’ part about that particular ‘out loud wish’ was, push come to shove, Hillary was probably the ONLY candidate McCain could have beaten.

Like his predecessor, the ‘Great Communicator’, the Great Triangulator wasn’t nearly as popular as the (CO) media would like you to believe.

If we were to ask if Obama could beat Sarah Palin, would the answer be, what difference would it make?

We’re already looking at what the Palin presidency would look like. It would be both tone deaf and completely out of touch with reality, just like the current administration.

Sadly good citizen, this isn’t going to end well.

There will be blood and there will be war…and many millions (if not billions) will die.

All so a few can be rich.

Inside the paper cup...

Greetings good citizen,

Here we are again, back inside the ‘paper cup’ the corporate media reports from. Which is to say the ‘fantasy world’ where all is well and conservatives have all of the answers.

(Didn’t we conclude yesterday that there is no ‘conservative bias’ in the media? At least according to the decidedly conservative Corporate media.)

Yesterday we also reached the conclusion that the ‘new and improved, fair and balanced’ media was considerably less reliable and trustworthy than the accursed ‘Liberal Media’.

It’s just a ‘cowinkidink’ that the new, can’t believe a word they say media popped into existence immediately after a highly illegal ‘consolidation’ of national media markets.

But the criminal acts of lawyers aren’t illegal if the perps pay off the right officials.

Which brings us full circle to the ‘crux’ of the whole situation. Most of you believe we have money problems when what we really have are legal problems!

It is NOT POSSIBLE to solve our financial crisis as long as our legal system remains inoperative/non-responsive.

We are faced with, as everyone is slowly realizing, the biggest ‘heist’ ever and the so-called ‘cops’ are directing traffic while the criminals load the truck! (Literally facilitating their get away!)

AND THERE AIN’T A FUCKING THING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!

(I know writing it in all caps is childish but it satisfies my inner child to do it…so there.)

The self-interested are bankrupting the nation by off-shoring all of our manufacturing capacity and throwing wide the doors of trade so they can import (duty-free) what used to be made right here!

As our economic desert grows, those who profited mightily from lower labor costs and less per employee benefit costs (no pensions and no healthcare) are in the process of joining their overseas empires, leaving a badly wounded land behind.

Their ‘new’ employees are also their new customers, so it’s the big ‘fuck you’ to the rest of us.

Truth be told good citizen, this is, unquestionably, ‘treason’ and everyone responsible SHOULD hang (starting with the criminal lawyers who looked the other way for a payday.)

I mean, what price can you put on the destruction of an entire civilization?

It’s not just the US that got ‘stuck’, it is every ‘developed’ nation around the world.

And guess who pulled the strings for all of this to work?

That’s right…THE FUCKING BANKERS!

Who are, coincidentally, the ‘arbiters of the value of everything’ (because they say so, no less!)

This is why ‘money’ failed! (Because in the end it is all just somebody’s [totally uninformed] ‘opinion’.)

It is so because they say it is so.

Unfortunately there is no escaping this, which is why A Simple Plan removes this process from the ‘self-interested’ (By making income streams illegal…actually they will be ‘impossible’, the law will be ‘self-enforcing’.)

[Wonkish: for Newbies, if the mention of the word ‘economics’ makes your eyes glaze over, ‘income streams’ are why the rich remain rich while most lottery winners go bankrupt.

Simply put, an income stream is an income source derived from the sale of a product.

Society/civilization DOES NOT NEED ‘income streams’ to function, we do what we do because it needs doing (and you would do it regardless of whether or not you got paid for it.)

Money is a wonderful invention because it eliminates the need for you to do EVERYTHING yourself. This is a ‘good thing’.

Letting ‘someone else’ decide how much your money is worth is a ‘bad thing’. They tend to decide in their own favor. (Usually by demanding that you pay more than whatever they have to offer is worth. It’s a familiar concept, paying $2 for a one dollar item…because if you don’t pay the two bucks you don’t get the sumbitch.)

How ‘out of hand’ is this situation…the world now supports more than 1,500 multi-billionaires AND EVERY FUCKING ONE OF THEM overcharges their customers! (Which is how they got to be Billionaires!)

Understand, Mother Nature DOESN’T HAVE A CASH REGISTER so all, er, ‘inputs’ are, yup, ‘FREE’. The fucking boss doesn’t pay a red cent for inputs so why should you?

He’s taking X and turning it into something useful…which is inaccurate, he does NONE of this (personally) and the term ‘rich employee’ is an oxymoron. No matter how big your paycheck, without your own income stream, YOU ARE A PEASANT!

All of which is neither here nor there.

What you need to ‘unlearn’ is just ‘who(m) has a ‘right’ to what, when.

Libertarians are fond of spelling your rights out for you because, for them, it is simple, beyond ownership, you have NONE!

This is idiotic but a lot of things humans take for granted don’t withstand close scrutiny well at all.

While ‘income streams’ ARE the ‘lifeblood’ of capitalism they are otherwise unnecessary.

They exist solely to provide an income source for the, er, ‘owner’ (who is incapable of providing any proof at all that they have a right to what they claim is theirs.)

At the very best, ALL ‘owners’ are guilty of dealing in ‘stolen goods’.

Worse, these people commonly sell you what is already ‘yours’ to begin with!

Since the most ‘expendable’ person at any given company is its ‘owner’, A Simple Plan eliminates that position.

Managers, not owners ‘run’ companies.

Much of the ‘suffering’ endured by the lower echelons of our civilization is due to the ‘mal-distribution’ of economic benefit.

Look at what the few have done to what was once the most powerful nation on the planet.

All due to patently false claims of ‘ownership’, somehow the imbeciles think the backing of the ‘legal system’ justifies their claims…which is laughable. I can appoint some idiot to be a judge and he'll gladly agree to whatever I tell him! (Which brings us back to our deeply flawed legal system.)

As you can see, the problem is much deeper than it first appears.

While this could all be summed up by pointing to the central issue, that of ‘ownership’ is it shared or are some pigs ‘more equal’ than others?

A Simple Plan takes the position that we ‘share’ the ownership of this planet’s resources, which includes the planet itself.

We are, by extension, the ‘stewards’ of the interests of future generations. (Another job the current managers are failing miserably at.)

Sadly, ‘damage control’ is the most we can hope for.

Fortunately, the ‘scorched earth’ doesn’t encompass the whole planet (yet.)

Anyway, let me assure you that there are no ‘simple’ answers. It all comes down to what ‘philosophy’ (or ideology) you subscribe to.

Income streams are ‘predatory. They only serve the interests of the owner at the expense of society.

This is NOT what any of us signed up for when we agreed not to kill one another on sight.

Don’t make us change our minds…

'Liberal Bias'

Greetings good citizen,

We all know (because the media has told us, repeatedly) that there is a definite ‘liberal bias’ in the mainstream media.

Um, suspiciously, few seem to find this, er, ‘allegation’ to be itself ‘biased’. More interesting is the fact that since this claim was originally made today’s media has a decidedly (and easily detectable) conservative slant…and nobody is bitching about that…

Which should tell you something.

Something about the ‘4th Estate’ being co-opted (as I recently pointed out.)

Yes good citizen, since ‘the war against liberal bias in the media’ went public, the consensus is that the ‘conservative media is ‘unreliable’ at best and ‘untrustworthy’ most of the time…but at least they got rid of the damn liberal bias!

But today’s story is even more interesting (and sure to evoke more howling from conservatives about the biased ‘liberal media’. Today’s story is one of how conservative legislators are seeking the direct input of this nation’s oligarchs regarding what legislation (they think) needs fixing?

You can rest assured that you won’t see these Republicans leading the charge to formulate solutions for these issues!

This is what the ‘ballot box' produces when you combine it with ‘Private Enterprise’ that also owns the ‘free press’.

I don’t think any of you needs to be educated to the fact that the ownership of an object and its freedom (or calling it ‘free’) is a ‘contradiction of terms’ commonly referred to as an ‘oxymoron’.

Under wretched Capitalism, the ‘owner’ of a media outlet gets to dictate that outlet’s, er, ‘position’ on any given topic…this ‘freedom’ stops with the will and pleasure of the owner, the rest of us can go suck rocks if we don’t like it/agree with what the media reports.

Worse, it doesn’t have to be the ‘truth’ (because said owner is ‘free’ to express their ‘opinion’, even if they are election results.)

How else do you think elections get ‘stolen’?

Think this isn’t a problem, even Thomas Jefferson fretted about the ‘over-reliance’ our system of government has on MEN ‘both good and true’…

What do you suppose has been done since the 1790’s to diminish these concerns of the Founders?

That’s right, NOTHING!

Worse, good citizen, is the alternative. Once such a system becomes corrupted, the only way to (positively) repair it is to (completely) eliminate it.

There is no ‘middle ground’.

Anyone who insists otherwise is trying to deceive you.

No irony should be lost on the fact that this brings us full circle to the one contentious object that IS the root of all of our problems.

This is actually quite humorous when viewed from the ‘all money is funny’ perspective.

The thing you need to wrap your head around is THE ONLY WAY OUT is through the ‘funny money’ door!

I suppose, once again, it would be wise to repeat that it is not my intention to tell you what to think (that is what the Republican Party exists for) but to give you something to think about, sometimes by pointing out what you aren’t seeing.

You were RAISED to BELIEVE that MONEY was GODSENT, that GOD invented money and for that reason alone, MONEY was SACRED!

Bad news good citizen…your self-professed ‘betters’ lied to you.

It is positively astounding how many people believe that money has its roots in God…not that the fuckers who print the junk didn’t do everything in their power to foster that belief…

This is absolutely hilarious to an Atheist; two ‘make believe’ concepts in one and both of them are ‘man-made’! It is just too rich!

Step one is realizing the ‘faith based’ nature of that failed attempt to simplify barter.

It staggers the mind to consider how much we endure due to this treacherous mind game the players inflict upon the rest of us.

What is truly mind-boggling is what will happen when/if people realize they have been ‘played’?

We’ve all experienced the anger others display when they learn that they have been ‘cheated’.

This is the ‘landmine’ the financial sector is currently tap-dancing upon.

Worse, good citizen, the ‘decision’ to NOT meet longstanding social obligations (by so-called conservatives) is a conscious one.

The ‘mis-managers’ of our society DO NOT KNOW what they are doing because they are COMPLETELY IGNORANT regarding the ‘true nature’ of, er, money, which has but one useful purpose to society.

They do understand one thing though…they KNOW they are cheating everybody else…and this knowledge scares them spitless because they KNOW what they would do if the shoes were reversed.

No irony should be lost on the new perspective this revelation gives to concepts like ‘the rapture’…God save them indeed! (It will be the ONLY way they escape ‘death most horrible’.)

Which probably explains why the ‘desecration of a corpse’ is a crime…because the dead don’t care. What happens to the ‘meat-suit’ after you’re gone is of little consequence.

But I digress, this is morbid beyond the usual grim fare normally served.

Sadly, if you don’t have the stomach for it, you’re definitely not going to like the not too distant future.

THAT will redefine the term ‘grim’.

But enough is enough,

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

With apologies but no excuses, the future is what it is,

Gegner
