I was watching TV last night (a re-run of an oldie but a goodie) when a commercial came on. The ‘come on’ was doom and gloom…well, you don’t dangle disaster in front of this kid without my taking a ‘free look’.
And what I found was this latest incarnation of the Tom Vu, ‘nothing down’ seminar only this time it might better be called what it really is, “Shoveling shit against the tide.”
Understand good citizen, the collapse of civilization is NOT AN INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY!
What Bubba wants is for as many of you as he can, er, ‘convince’ to send him (um, ironically HE isn’t refusing US dollars…yet) fifty dollars/euros/pesos or the equivalent in silver or gold in exchange for his ‘secrets’ for turning a profit from the coming shit-storm.
Ironically, Tom Vu didn’t make a fortune in Real Estate, he made it from chumps like you who forked over $600 to learn the ‘secrets’ of finding STUPID PEOPLE!
Which is to say it is amazing the major TV networks can charge candidates for political office enormous sums for campaign ads when you can buy airtime for a song?
Half of today’s network programming is ‘Paid Program’…which is pretty interesting considering the consumer, the ‘average one anyway, is broke.
Another disturbing symptom of our badly broken economy is the fact that high end retail is still raking it in hand over fist!
Yeah, it’s pay increases you’ll never see and lower prices you don’t get because that’s where Bilbo Baggins gets his from…
Moving on, we have this bull shit from the corporate owned media shining a spotlight on Repubikan efforts to boost, er, ‘support their local economies’.

Equally important is that numerous state governments across the nation shifted to Republican control in last November’s elections.
First question is, Where is this conservative Shangri La we were promised?
Don’t strain your eyes good citizen, it doesn’t exist.
Just like that imaginary land where the already rich legislators refuse their paychecks so they can govern out of the ‘goodness of their hearts’.
Which provides a perfect opportunity to remind you WHY government exists in the first place. It exists to PROTECT US from THEM!
It was established to protect the poor from the predations of the rich.
Under an effective government there would be no poverty, the poor wouldn’t exist.
How unfortunate is it that we are faced with a more basic problem, if we don’t correct the massive mismanagement currently underway we will be faced with the battle to save our species (and I’m not saying we’re out of those woods yet either!)

It’s the treason part of the puzzle that I think most of us find disturbing.
Let us rewind a little bit to the actual ‘solution’ to the problems facing our civilization, can ‘local legislators’ really ‘save the day?’
The REAL answer is YES! (But they will have to break dozens of national and international laws to do it.)
We start at ‘square one’, all economies are LOCAL! (regional might be a better descriptor as infinite redundancy isn’t particularly efficient.)
You start with erecting a ‘trade wall’ around your target population. You can only stabilize the situation ‘inside the loop’ (in a timely manner.)
The first ‘goal’ of your pilot group is ‘self-sufficiency’. They need to internally source everything they need for their continued survival.
Once the ‘target population’ is stabilized it can be enlarged by establishing a ‘national production plant’ for some universal product like renewable energy.
By and large ‘redundancy’ will be discouraged in favor of durability. The practice of ‘re-inventing’ the same product every few months is extremely wasteful…something to be avoided in the resource scarce future.
How ironic is it that the same few that are granted the ‘privilege’ of serving their community are in danger of becoming the first John Galts among us?
Once the protected areas are established the work of linking them up can begin.
While this is a ‘thumbnail’ of what needs doing, it is more of a plan than what currently exists.
