Blind Eye

Greetings good citizen,

For this week’s episode of ‘descent into the maelstrom’ we have this purposefully vague and more than a little hopeful article on why the stock market is seemingly ‘divorced’ from the real economy.

Observe:
THAT may help explain why, despite all the storm clouds hanging over this economy, professional investors appear willing to look past the poor data. In fact, money managers say they are more bullish about domestic blue-chip stocks than about stocks in emerging markets or the rest of the developed world, according to a recent survey by Russell Investments.

John S. Osterweis, chairman and chief investment officer of Osterweis Capital Management, says that the economic head winds notwithstanding, several long-term trends could support a new leg to the bull market in domestic stocks.

Among them are a possible rebound in the housing sector, a potential revival of domestic manufacturing as wage growth accelerates in China, and the tail wind that could arise from the boom in domestic energy production.

Mr. Dorsey at Sanibel points to yet another possible tail wind. “Think about what uncertainty causes,” he said. “It causes low expectations. And when is typically a good time to buy an asset class? When expectations and valuations are low.”

The above are the closing paragraphs from this NY Times article…trust me, you won’t find anything more concrete in the whole package.

Especially, er, ‘hopeful’ is the third paragraph where they cite a list of (highly relative) possibilities.

Loan me your blind eye so I can point to some of the features they, er, ‘gloss over’…

Let’s start with the ‘Only game in town’ part of the puzzle. And what they don’t want to point to is the ‘Secret of their success’.

Have you noticed the never-ending procession of mergers and acquisitions? That’s why stocks are doing well while the rest of the economy is at a dead stall.

Capitalism is all about Market Share and when you reach ‘market saturation’ capitalism turns cannibal.

That alleged ‘opportunity for everyone’ turns into market share for those who can afford to buy it.

Oh, and how do you ‘justify’ spending tons of cash for market share that would have been yours if you had just waited?

You throw a ton of (suddenly redundant) people out into the streets (and pocket all of those ‘salaries and benefits’!)

Which as we can see from the ‘labor force participation rate’ actually shrinks the overall economy!

Thereby increasing social unrest…but the peckerheads who wrote this article don’t take that into consideration…

Since you absorb the shares of the ‘target’ company, your shares naturally ‘rise’ because you have captured market share you didn’t have before…by eliminating a competitor.

But, as these assholes know, there is a downside to this variety of economic predation that walks hand in hand with diminished opportunity.

Eventually a very small handful of not necessarily intelligent people end up owning everything…and they don’t feel your pain. You lost, so you should sit down and shut up.

Didn’t get your turn ‘at bat’, not their problem!

Until you make it their problem!

Like yesterday’s ‘disenfranchised’ young man who did something totally senseless because he had absolutely nothing to lose!

And if that doesn’t bug you…you may not pass the test.

Worse…since this ‘nothing to lose’ phenomenon is spreading, things could get mighty frightening, mighty quick (and the idiots currently in charge have no clue how to fix it, except by playing to the ‘nothing left to lose’ crowds strength.

Did I mention our civilization is self-destructing faster now that the process is picking up steam?

What I’m really curious to see is what kind of ‘New Deal’ they are going to offer the marauders who threaten civil order?

The first couple of passes will be ‘Band-aids’ at best. Discounts on mortgages and guarantees on jobs that are so conditional as to be worthless.

We all know how the HMO bullshit ended up, you’re two bucks a week became two thousand a month (and rising!)

But not until after the publicly funded healthcare system was dismantled…thanks St. Ronnie!

No what I’m curious to see is if the people will fall for the same old crap they’ve been ‘force-fed’ for centuries or whether civilization will self-destruct due to the massive decay of trust and good will?

Pretty fucked up thing to be pondering during the season of peace and goodwill…but considering how commercialized it’s all become, maybe it’s not that fucked up after all.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

HSC

Greetings good citizen,

Um, markets ‘slid’ today giving back their inexplicable gains they made earlier this week.

Funny little game these Wall Streeters’ play but it has zero relationship to the ‘real’ economy.

Which brings us back to the basic Human social contract

What’s that you ask?

It is an important understanding between people that libertarians and the like say is a fairy tale.

Anyone who advocates ‘bootstrapping’ and YOYOism likes to pretend the human social contract doesn’t exist.

Ironically, it was the violating of this allegedly non-existent contract that resulted in ‘The Terror’ of the French Revolution.

Let us take a moment to lay down some background first:
Japan is quite different from the U.S. and Europe, with a homogeneous populace and a culture rooted in Confucian values and social hierarchies. Despite the many differences, including definitions of depression, I think it is self-evident that the rising insecurity and workplace changes in Japan result from long-term economic stagnation.

I suspect "new-type depression" may have some universal aspects, as rising insecurity and new demands in the workplace characterize Western economies as well.

New-type depression--NTD--(also called modern-type) is not a classic depression. It does not respond to anti-depressant medications, and it is triggered by events in the workplace--usually criticism from superiors. Those who exhibit the symptoms--difficulty focusing at work, physical symptoms of stress, etc.--tend to be in their 20s and 30s.

What we see here are the emerging effects of a people who tap dance on a landmine every day.

They don’t know from one day to the next if they will be able to support themselves.

Now our Libbies and their kissing cousins the Conservo-loonies, bootstrappers one and all, are calling the appearance of this malaise ‘a weakness’ in the individuals displaying the symptoms.

This would be incorrect. The reaction is caused by the violation of the human social contract, the REASON WHY we DON’T KILL ONE ANOTHER ON SIGHT!

Just stop for a second and let that sink in.

Why DON’T WE kill one another on sight? We are the ‘alpha predator’, it’s only natural that we ‘ought to’ eliminate competitors from our turf.

But wait, something’s wrong here. We are only top dog when we act ‘in concert’. All alone we are easily killed by goddamn viruses!

Hell, if it got the jump on you, a dog could kick your ass and kill you. In fact, on your own, there is a long list of wildlife that has the upper hand in a one on one encounter.

So we don’t dare to kill one another on sight. We only prevail in, er, ‘packs’.

But why do incidents like the terror occur?

Well, under those circumstances one ‘pack’ of humans oversteps it’s bounds and neglects its responsibility to the other…’packs’, if you will.

They take all of the ‘good stuff’ for themselves, leaving next to nothing for anyone else.

Now, the ‘unwritten contract’ states that we suffer or prosper TOGETHER.

But the greedheads don’t like that idea. They subscribe to the ‘I was here first’ principle.

If there is any suffering to be done it will fall upon those who didn’t grab what they could, when they could.

But that’s not the deal!

The deal is share and share alike!

So you can see how these little ‘impasses’ end up in the streets running in blood.

Because the people, looking for their share, now have to go out and take it from those who took it unjustly.

And yeah, it’s still ‘crowd vs. crowd.’

And my how that crowd has grown under the false prosperity sown to hide the theft.

Worse, it’s a not a question of ‘if’ we are about to hit the wall but ‘when’?

Again there will be cries of shock, ‘why is this happening’ when we saw it begin all of those years ago…and stood motionless as they whispered ‘it’s different this time’.

It’s NEVER different…and it’s not different this time.

What has to happen, since they pretty much walked away unscathed the last time, is they have to be, er, ‘taught’ not to violate the contract all over again.

Like they were taught in 1789…and why we are here again so soon after 1929 because we DIDN’T ‘make them pay’ then.

We won’t enjoy that luxury this time. Although that’s what they’re counting on, that we’re ‘too civilized’ to punish them…the way that they punish tin pot dictators who object to their ‘machinations’.

We are rapidly approaching a time when we can no longer tolerate the few to prey upon the rest of us.

Those who fail to appreciate the benefits of the human social contract will have those benefits (forcibly) withdrawn from them.

Like it or not, we are all in this together.

Thus do we need to decide, together, what we should do next.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Listen Carefully:

Greetings good citizen,

Happy Saturday! (The idiot stock markets are closed so we needn’t trouble ourselves with their irrational gyrations for a couple of days anyway.

Probably a good thing that we are spared this nonsense on the weekends or our heads might truly explode.

But that doesn’t apply to all of us. The ‘new economy’ (retail focused) is a 24/7 enterprise.

It is only a matter of time before the buying and selling of financial securities transitions to a 24/7 activity.

(How sad is it that the markets will crash if they even attempt it?)

But no matter; because we are racing towards a time when it will all be like it was for time out of mind and there won’t be ANY financial markets at all.

But I digress.

The topic of tonight’s post isn’t the financial markets but how those who own them benefit the most from them…and how one individual proposes that we change all that…
There are three categories of policy changes that we need: rules and policies that raise the floor, those that level the playing field, and those that break up over-concentrations of wealth and corporate power. These are not hard-and-fast categories, but a useful framework for grouping different rule changes.

1.Rule changes that raise the floor

• Ensure the minimum wage is a living wage
• Provide universal health care
• Enforce basic labor standards and protections

2. Rule changes that level the playing field

• Invest in education
• Reduce the influence of money in politics
• Implement fair trade rules

3. Rule changes that break up wealth and power

• Tax the 1 percent
• Rein in CEO pay
• Stop corporate tax dodging
• Reclaim our financial system
• Reengineer the corporation
• Redesign the tax revenue system

Um, I keep repeating this but apparently nobody listens (and why should they?)

THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX CAPITALISM USING CAPITALISM.

Error number one here is the word tax. If you need taxes to finance your society, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!

How does, er, ‘Zippy’ propose to insure that the minimum wage is (and remains) ‘a living wage’?

A Simple plan accomplishes this by making housing and utilities a ‘gimme’, they are both your ‘rights' as a citizen. You only need money for food and clothing and to compete for little ‘extras’ like seats at entertainment venues and for meals at a hospitality facility.

Um, then there’s the ‘traveling’ piece of the puzzle. Good shoe leather will command a premium because walking will be everybody’s primary mode of transportation.

Each region will deal with the transport issue in ways that make sense for that area (although I can GUARANTEE YOU that a 400 Hp 4X4 will NOT be one of them.)

Personal transportation will become a rarity reserved for ‘special needs/situations’.

Which, tangentially, will help to address the nation’s obesity epidemic (said the three hundred pound moose!)

Wanna ‘see the world?’ Join the fucking Navy! (Or at least the merchant Marine.)

Universal healthcare is also a ‘gimme’ under A Simple Plan…but Bobo doesn’t say how he proposes to enact and enforce ‘universal health and safety standards’…the lack of which accounts for much of the pretense of the cheaper there.

I’ll tell you how this happens under A Simple Plan, Bobo no longer ‘owns’ the company so he no longer gets to ‘dictate’ how it is run!

Then he goes on to repeat one of the oldest ‘talking points’ there is, the ‘invest in education’ bullshit.

Under A Simple plan you learn on the job, the way they used to do it!

Everybody will literally ‘apprentice’ in their given field of endeavor and you won’t have these disastrous ‘misunderstandings’ that are born of miscommunications in the educational process.

You will learn and you won’t advance until you can pass a test on the material!

Thinking about bribing the guy giving the test?

You can’t…your money is for you, and you don’t have any cash…nor is there any way to transfer funds between individuals.

So Bobo’s last proposal, stiff taxes on ‘inherited wealth’ is also a non-starter…

Because under A Simple Plan, when you die your money dies WITH YOU! Your account is erased, nobody gets it!

I’ll bet your thinking…hmmn. Shame that nobody gets that money…maybe if I worked in the book keeping end of the organization I could, er, ‘skim off’ a little bit of the money into an alias that I happen to have…who’d know?

Um the system is self-checking AND if you are caught ‘buttering your own bread’ it is ‘automatic exile’ for you!

Oh, and don’t get me wrong. I suspect there will be numerous ‘accountant types’ who will be convicted of stealing from society and will pay the price…but that’s only ‘human nature’.

Again, Bobo makes the mistake of treating a legal problem as if it were a tax problem and you can’t solve the problem if you don’t attack it at the root!

Here’s my ‘sales pitch’ one more time:

If you want YOUR KID to grow up free in a society where they will be equal to everyone else then A Simple Plan is for YOU!

Now, if you’re hopelessly stupid and think your kid is better than everyone else, knock yourself out and listen to idiots who can’t even get the problem right!

If you don’t start at the beginning you won’t end up in the right place.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Whacko!

Greetings good citizen,

Happy Monday/Tuesday to you! (For many of you it’s Tuesday/Tuesday because your capitalist bosses have become stingy about giving you, er, ‘unnecessary’ paid days off.

Columbus Day USED TO BE a holiday (back when the tax rate on people who earned more than a million a year was over 90%…now that the pricks pay lower taxes than you do they suddenly can’t afford to pay YOU for holidays anymore! (Hint, they no longer need the ‘write off’ your holiday pay used to represent!)

I mean understand the logic behind high marginal taxes. Either treat your employees better OR we’ll take it from you and pay it out in welfare!

And understand, poverty has always been a problem but it was NEVER as bad as it is now.

Which isn’t absolutely accurate. Back before the New Deal kids went without shoes because their parents didn’t earn enough money, but those kids had a warm house and food in their stomachs!

But after the New Deal that variety of grinding poverty ‘almost’ disappeared…because the capitalist had his feet held to the fire. Either pay your employees or Uncle Sam will do it for you!

And it worked…at first.

Business owners learned they could get the unions to cheat their own people if they cozied up to the mobsters who ran them.

This turned into a two-edged sword because it gave the union a bad name and it let the capitalist play ‘hardball’ with the help.

But nowadays the boss doesn’t have to worry about the unions anymore…because once the bosses bought the justice system, they didn’t need to play footsie with the mob anymore.

They had (have) the judges in their pockets.

Now they can let their stooges in the financial sector pull stunts like this one:
I.M.F. Forecast Discourages Investors
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS 34 minutes ago

The International Monetary Fund lowered its world economic growth outlooks for 2013 and 2014.
why do you suppose the IMF is lowering it’s already abysmal projections for the foreseeable future?

Could it be because we are ALL JAPANESE now?

Which is to ask if Japan isn’t the latest economy to join the ranks of the World’s Banana Republics?

But what’s up with this?
Japanese Car Sales Plummet in China
By KEITH BRADSHER

Japanese automakers have cut manufacturing by up to half in China after violent anti-Japanese protests over disputed islands in which Japanese-brand cars and even their owners were targeted.
More curious is what the US car buying public is making of this phenomenon? Don’t the Chinese KNOW that the Japanese produce the highest quality cars in the world?

(Not that the typical American would recognize quality if it bit him on the noggin!)

Ask your typical US Japanese car buyer what quality is and they’re likely to respond ‘shiny!’

Some might respond ‘reliable’ not that the typical US Japanese car buyer understands this concept because they have NOTHING to compare it to!

All he knows is what the Japanese tell him…and he believes it! (He also thinks his own experiences are ‘outliers’ and therefore not typical.)

But we digress because the Chinese aren’t attacking ‘Japanese quality’ there are attacking Japanese aggression!

But let us move on:
Draghi Sees a Ray of Hope for Euro Zone
By JACK EWING 3:04 PM ET

Mario Draghi, the president of the European Central Bank, along with a growing number of economists, argue that there are tentative signs that adjustments are beginning to pay off.
Why is it the high priests of money are the only ones capable of detecting the ‘fruits of their labors?’ (Especially troubling because the average person believes the central bankers are full of shit…and the average person isn’t wrong!)

Yet this idiot (like Bernanke) sees the ‘green shoots’ of recovery everywhere while the facts at hand tell us all that the economy is still locked in a ‘death spiral’.

Yes, Mario sees ‘blue skies’ while the average citizen is being torn apart in a tempest of epic proportions:
Greek Leader Greets Merkel as Protests Rage in Streets
By RACHEL DONADIO and NICHOLAS KULISH 35 minutes ago

Greek authorities sought to shield Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany from protesters angered by painful austerity measures during a visit to Athens aimed at showing solidarity with the country.
And yet what is the ‘first inclination’ of the typical US observer? He thinks the Greeks haven’t given the austerity measures enough of a chance.

Because the typical Fox News viewer doesn’t remember that this ‘bailout’ of the Greek economy is entering its forth year.

But fear not…soon the typical Fox News viewer will get their own opportunity to try out ‘austerity’ first hand as the cities they live in collide with the balanced budget features of their city and town charters.

How does your town ‘live within its means’ when the owners of commerce have off-shored the reason the town existed in the first place?

Short answer is they don’t.

And you learn a lesson in civics 101, that your safety and your children’s welfare are directly proportional to your community’s ability to support itself.

Now ask yourself if a capitalist ‘has the right’ to export a community’s foundation to make themselves ‘richer’?

Let’s take a look at someone who got wildly wealthy by taking hundreds of community’s ‘engines’ and sending them to China:
Jack Welch Will Stop Writing for Fortune
By CHRISTINE HAUGHNEY 10 minutes ago

Mr. Welch made his decision after the magazine ran articles critical of his suggestion that the Obama administration had manipulated the monthly jobs numbers from the Labor Department.
Apparently the retired head of the world’s (former) largest manufacturer and also the former largest corporation…because GE is neither now, didn’t learn anything from his twenty years at the helm of the company Thomas Edison founded.

Except how to throw hissy fits when people point out the truth!

If only he has decided to keep his mouth shut thirty years ago when he dismantled the most successful company ever established for his own personal greed.

But no, instead we have this conundrum to ponder:
Wall Street Pay Remains High Even as Jobs Shrink
By SUSANNE CRAIG and BEN PROTESS 4:57 PM ET

Total compensation rose 4 percent last year to more than $60 billion — an amount surpassed only by total pay in 2007 and 2008, according to a report.
What? There are fewer brokers but the ones that remain are making MORE MONEY?

HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT WORK IN AN OBVIOUSLY BROKEN GLOBAL ECONOMY?

Can you say thievery?

Because that’s the only rational explanation…and where is our justice department?

Killing innocent civilians!

And you think we’re going to ‘bounce back’ from this?

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Rinse & Repeat

Greetings good citizen,

For most of us life is centered on doing what we need to do to keep the wolves from the door. We slave away at unrewarding jobs (even good jobs don’t ‘reward’ YOU…) never giving much thought to the NITWITS in charge!

Which is somewhat off base…we think about the MORONS all of the time…but there’s nothing we can do about the incompetents at the top.

We don’t ‘vote’ for them and, push come to shove, we don’t have the luxury of choosing not to work for them, the job market has been tight (and getting tighter) for years.

It’s generally accepted we ALL work for idiots and that we’re also led by incompetents. While we may get to ‘vote’ for who leads us we are powerless to ‘fire’ them…(although these same imbeciles can have us killed for no reason whatsoever!)

But let us not get distracted by the subtleties involved.

Again, I am pointing to something YOU aren’t supposed to be thinking about…

Leadership that is responsive to YOUR needs…(so why would your government need the power to KILL you without reason? Could we be back at the original issue of ‘whose government is it anyway?’)

(Not that it’s going to be an issue much longer.)

Well, here’s something for you to ponder while your figuring out whether you want pork or chicken in the ‘barf bag’ tonight.

This whole ‘investor charade’ only works in the ‘one size fits all’ mode!
Thus, starting last year, Goldman began to offer an N-11 Equity fund to complement its BRIC fund. Ms. Koch said both funds could have roles in retail investors’ portfolios, either as someone’s full emerging-markets allocation or as an add-on, particularly for a person invested only in an emerging-markets index fund. That’s because the leading emerging-markets index, by MSCI, excludes Nigeria, Vietnam and Bangladesh — three countries that Goldman counts as promising.

“We’re saying that the default is suboptimal,” she said. “You have to ask which countries are really going to drive growth.”

BUT William S. Rocco, an analyst for Morningstar, advised caution when considering a BRIC fund or any narrowly targeted emerging-market offering. Investors who haven’t invested in emerging markets before should consider a broader offering, he said. “Generally, at Morningstar, we don’t like the idea of artificially limiting a manager’s choices,” he said.

And if they already own foreign or emerging-markets funds, they probably have exposure to the BRICs and several other emerging and frontier countries, he said. “Why would you want so much Brazil and China?” he asked. “You’re really doubling down.”

DO you understand what you’re seeing here good citizen?

This is taking the ‘Western Lifestyle and ‘making it fit’ around the globe.

And guess what good citizen, in order to pull this off the idiot capitalists’ need one and a half more Earth’s to exploit!

But that doesn’t stop them or even slow them down.

A lack of resources only means higher prices for those who can afford such things.

Remember money’s ‘one useful purpose’, that of ‘regulator’.

You don’t think about it that way but believe you me, those who can help themselves to as much as they want think about it precisely like that…because NOTHING is beyond THEIR reach!

Um, just to verify something that has been troubling you, the impression that you’re trapped on a ‘runaway train’…it’s true…and there is NO SAFE EXIT!

Why are YOU being ‘priced out’ of the market for goods your parents could easily afford? Because they are being sold to hundred of millions more customers than they were back in your parents day…because ALL ECONOMIES ARE LOCAL!

And a sidebar to the priced out argument is we no longer make those things here…which has a huge bearing on their ‘affordability’.

But as I pointed out in yesterday’s post, we will soon be unable to afford the ‘Western Lifestyle’ at ANY price!

Energy scarcity is a real ‘game changer’.

How frightening is it that if we don’t carefully manage the transition to energy scarcity that we could quickly find ourselves in a ‘kill on sight’ situation?

Which is to point out that those of you playing the ‘don’t rock the boat card’ are in for a real ‘hard landing’ when they pop the ‘energy surprise’ out of the box…(likely this winter.)

Which brings us to another issue.

We are far from ‘out’…BUT there isn’t enough to keep things rolling at ‘the current rate of consumption.’…the ONLY way to stretch what remains is to KILL OFF the ‘surplus population.’

Not that is matters to the rest of us but the only way to do this AND maintain the ‘status quo’ is to follow the above recipe…

We can quite easily convert to an energy scarce economy…but we’d need to ‘re-shuffle the deck’ considerably. (Starting with the Human Anti-Exploitation law! When viewed in this context, it’s importance becomes apparent.)

Um, don’t look now but the fucking >One Percent has drawn a bulls-eye on the back of ALL Western (industrialized) nations.

Our masters think we have been ‘too free’ and aren’t ‘sufficiently disciplined’ to meet the challenges of an energy scarce world. Spoiled as we all are by unions and coddled by frivolous civil protections.

So if you’ve been wondering why the West is in decline…it isn’t the regular people who have gone ‘decadent’…it’s the >One Percent who believes we will be ‘unmanageable’.

So your desire to ‘hold on to what you’ve got’ will prove futile…change is coming whether you fight or you lay down and die.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Bombs Away!

Greetings good citizen,

Stock markets finished in the red this afternoon…although not significantly. Which only means they have yet to detonate the ‘scuttling charges’ they have planted throughout what passes for our ‘economy’.

Some of you may have noticed I am posting at a different time, that is because I am trying to ‘maximize’ my post’s ‘hang time’ by shifting to when Blogger starts a new day…right around 8:00 PM locally.

I started last night and it seems to be working…so far.

That said, it’s tough to get anything meaningful out of blogger data tracking as it appears to be continuously updating, not just day to day but hour to hour!

Anyway, without setting out to do so it looks like this week’s ‘theme’ is class war and isn’t today’s top headline all about the effects class war is having upon our crumbling civilization.
For generations of Americans, it was a given that children would live longer than their parents. But there is now mounting evidence that this enduring trend has reversed itself for the country’s least-educated whites, an increasingly troubled group whose life expectancy has fallen by four years since 1990.

Researchers have long documented that the most educated Americans were making the biggest gains in life expectancy, but now they say mortality data show that life spans for some of the least educated Americans are actually contracting. Four studies in recent years identified modest declines, but a new one that looks separately at Americans lacking a high school diploma found disturbingly sharp drops in life expectancy for whites in this group. Experts not involved in the new research said its findings were persuasive.

The reasons for the decline remain unclear, but researchers offered possible explanations, including a spike in prescription drug overdoses among young whites, higher rates of smoking among less educated white women, rising obesity, and a steady increase in the number of the least educated Americans who lack health insurance.

Uned-ju-kated white men is dying young cuz them working stiff jobs don’t offers no in-sure-ants!

So when they turn up in the emergency room, the doctor lets ‘em die rather than busting his butt trying to keep ‘em alive…

(Although he gets paid regardless. It’s that fight with his supervisor he’s trying to avoid.)

But we can’t call THAT ‘class war’…noooo.

The >One Percent wants you dead but they don’t want you to be able to prove it’s their fault that YOU didn’t get the treatment you needed in a timely fashion.

Because guess who owns the for profit healthcare industry? It sure as shit ain’t you or me!

And guess who’s pay is tied to the profitability of the unit he works for?

Think Daktari doesn’t stick it to ya if you’re uninsured?

Next time one of those fuckers is pinned in his car under a telephone pole, waiting for a minimum wage tow truck driver to free him…maybe the driver should remember that the doctor WOULD NOT hustle to treat him if the shoes were on the other foot.

How about that? The corporate owned media even has the chutzpah to say the reason for the rising death rate is ‘unclear’.

Seriously? What do YOU think is causing it?

And isn’t it a sin that we find ourselves right back to the beginning of the circle, fighting over essentially worthless ‘money’.

You (and yours) are being allowed to DIE because of your inability to pay, with essentially worthless dollars.

The fat cats don’t need it, they’ve already got more than they can spend. So why are people being denied treatment (and left to die) because they can’t pay (the insane prices the for profit healthcare industry charges?)

Worse, we can’t even charge the healthcare industry with ‘criminal neglect’, not with the court system the way it is now.

Did I mention that the ‘cold war’ has been raging for the past twenty-five years?

Nobody remembers that you never heard the acronym HMO before the Reagan administration.

In fact, Reagan is responsible for ‘privatizing’ US Healthcare and the subsequent dismantling of a once robust public hospital network.

Just one more reason to vote for the conservo-whackos…let’s see what else they can ‘fix’ for us?

Of course, I’ve already told you that despite the political mis-steps of the past week, the Romney/Ryan ticket will be triumphant come November…because that’s what ‘the masters of the universe’ want.

And it will be ‘sold’ to us by the corporate owned media as one of history’s greatest political upsets; a phenomenon that will remain ‘unexplained’ because the resultant revolt will eclipse the entire issue.

But I digress.

Alongside the healthcare battle zone is another ‘hot spot’ that the average worker has been forced to dance around for decades now and that’s been the ‘hold on to your job’ front.

For the past THREE DECADES you have been getting ‘short-sheeted’ by the minions of the >One Percent by being told ‘Be thankful you still HAVE a damn job!’

Which has all too often been followed up with by a ‘raise’ that didn’t keep pace with the supposedly non-existent inflation rate.

If you got a two-percent raise, YOUR cost for healthcare went up five!

And the next year it was something else.

All the while you’ve been getting nickel and dimed by the town you live in as they cried to override the tax cap to fund the schools and to buy every department head in town a new vehicle.

Or upgrade the computer system or to upgrade the communications system so they could all talk to FEMA at the same time…

I say the ‘minions of the >One Percent because the >One Percent no longer have any business interests in this economy.

The only ones left are their ‘vendors’ (a.k.a. minions.)

The US is just about done being the ‘dumping ground’ for all of the shit they now make elsewhere with ‘artificially cheap’ labor.

I’m telling you good citizen, what we have seen during our lifetimes is nothing less than the ‘crime of the century’.

Never have so many been so ripped off by so few and been so powerless to put a stop to it.

The very real danger here good citizen is that the ‘backlash’ from this deception will destroy our civilization…as the criminals slink off to their luxury hideouts…

Laughing all the way…

Until the bombers show up…

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Fairly Unbalanced

Greetings good citizen,

I’ve been pretty consistent in transmitting the message that our civilization IS ‘under siege’ today, right now, this very minute.

I have also been fairly clear that we are riding the razor’s edge of a cold war with the >One Percent that is going to go ‘hot’ any day now.

UNDERSTAND, they want (and will do everything in their power) to keep the assault ‘cold’. You can’t defend yourself against their lawyers in their courtrooms.

They will strip you of everything that makes life worth living and leave you there to die.

Go ahead and complain…nobody will listen because they control the media.

Short of actually beating your brains out in front of a live TV camera, no one will ever find out the truth.

Cry all you want, you will find no audience…just ask the homeless.

Hell, when we’re all ‘homeless’ what will we do then?

And don’t think for a moment that it’s not going to happen. They have already refused to pay a living wage to workers the feel are ‘expendable’. Hell, they’ve also cut the salaries of workers who rely on specific infrastructure because they could!

First they enslaved you with their money then they choked you to death with it!

Again the bizarre part is the fact that ALL money is ‘funny’!

We, the working public are the victims of the biggest ‘mindfuck’ ever perpetrated!

And the penalty for this mindfuck is going to be as severe as it gets.

The question is whether or not justice will be served before YOU (and your children) become victims of the out of control criminals?

The ONLY way to rein in the criminals will be through ‘direct action’.

Think ‘citizen’s arrest’…because the calvary IS NOT going to ride to the rescue.

Nope, it’s worse than that… those charged with protecting YOU from the criminals would be protecting THEM!

Talk about occupying a rarified place of ‘entrenched power’.

Um, I know it’s comedy good citizen but didn’t your parents ever tell you that more truth is said in jest?

Watch that video good citizen and tell me we AREN’T a civilization on the brink?

Here’s the world’s largest news network being characterized as ‘Bullshit Mountain’ and YOU KNOW IT’S TRUE!

How did we get here without a single shot being fired?

Um, I know how it happened but you wouldn’t believe it so you’ll just have to reach your own conclusions.

Ask yourself, how sad is it that all of the evidence you need to prove our civilization has been hijacked by the One Percent is as close as the nearest Fox News broadcast?

‘Fairly unbalanced’, right?

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live through a ‘background coup’ you can stop wondering…it’s already happened.

The bad news is the bad guys won and now we have to fight them to take our nation back.

Um, if you don’t want to fight for your children’s future…

Then no amount of appealing to you better sensibilities will avail any of us.

Or you count yourself as a member of the >One Percent…just remember that ‘supporting their point of view’ DOESN’T make you one of them.

Although within a certain proximity of the One Percent, I can only imagine that a number of ‘promises in the dark’ have been made.

How unfortunate is it that you will be unable to determine if you have been hoodwinked until it is too late?

This is the hell of it good citizen, learning that the web of lies you have been fed your whole life are all untrue…and now you don’t know what to believe anymore.

How do you restore trust after it has been shattered in this manner?

The sad truth is you can’t, not without first sweeping away all of the mechanisms used to cheat you with.

A Simple Plan is close enough to what you’re familiar with to recognize yet different enough to restore your trust.

It has been engineered to be ‘hijack-proof’.

HOWEVER, it has to be installed ‘holistically’, with all of it’s parts intact.

You won’t get a simple plan if you also have tangible currency…and once you ‘accept’ money you can hold in your hand you open the doors to both debt and corruption.

Hell good citizen, ALL CRIME IS CASH AND CARRY, eliminate cash and you eliminate CRIME!

Theft stops in its tracks.

Why steal if you can’t sell? (Considering the penalty for ‘theft’ is exile, you’d have to be mighty stupid to take what you aren’t entitled to.)

And if you ARE that stupid then you deserve what happens to you!

You have no idea how frustrating it is know that most of you don’t believe me when I tell you that money is ALL funny.

Some of you believe money comes from God and some of you believe that if you’re ‘good’ in this life that God is saving you a place with him…but only if you’re 100% good.

Do the slightest thing to displease him and all bets are OFF!

What I need YOU to believe is that WE can create a better, sustainable world for ourselves AND our children…but we have to remove the ‘crazy people’ from power first.

They keep bitching about your ‘entitlements’, wait ‘til you get a load of what they think THEY’RE ‘entitled to!

(Which you will soon get to see for yourself.)

It’s not a one way trip nor is it too late…not yet anyway.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

The ONLY option...

Greetings good citizen,

I was mentally reviewing our situation in my mind last night, marveling over the fact that we are not (yet) in a state of open rebellion.

Because that’s where we should be.

I suspect hostilities are being suspended to give the upcoming election a chance to avert what is certain to be a disastrous ‘civil war’.

Who knows, maybe the corporate owned media will declare Snoopy the winner and we’ll all scratch our heads wondering how that’s going to work considering Charles Schultz is dead…

Curiously, I am not the only one who believes a fight is inevitable, as the >One Percent continues to lay the nation to waste decimating the future of ALL who call this land home (via their iron grip on our government and by extension, out commerce system.)

We will have no choice but to ‘forcibly evict’ those who claim to ‘own’ this nation and it’s resources if we are to save our children and ourselves from being abandoned as the newest economic backwater on the planet.
Why Chris Hedges Believes That Serious Revolt Is the Only Option People Have Left

MK: In the book, you bluntly write: "The American dream, as we know it is a lie. We will all be sacrificed." You speak of the spreading transnational corporate virus. Are you, in essence, saying the worst is yet to come, that the forsaken communities you profile are an ominous portent of what waits for so many of us except the privileged class?

CH: Yes. This is why we wrote the book, as a warning of what is about to befall us all. It is no more morally justifiable to kill someone for profit than it is to kill that person for religious fanaticism. And yet, from health companies to the oil and natural gas industry to private weapons contractors, individual death and the wholesale death of the ecosystem have become acceptable corporate business

How did it come to this, good citizen? How have corporate fatheads been granted free reign to destroy the plant in the reckless and relentless pursuit of ‘fake’ profits?

The myopic assholes honestly believe destroying the planet’s ‘carrying capacity’ will ‘naturally limit’ the size of its human population.

They have ‘no problem with the ‘supposition’ that systems fatally damaged today will take ten thousand years to ‘recover’.

What the fatheads don’t realize is the damaged systems will never return to their ‘original state’ just as the ecosystems damaged in the Seventies have yet to return to their ‘original state’.

We’re back to lying liars and their, er, ‘monopoly’ on the public conversation.

What has that ‘monopoly’ been telling us?

That there’s nothing wrong, the systems we bankrupted will correct themselves and everything will be just fine in a ‘couple of years’…all you have to do is sit back and let us work our ‘magic’.

And what is the primary focus of this so-called magic? It is to get YOU to keep ‘sitting on your hands’ while your situation (a.k.a. plight) continues to worsen.

The longer you ‘sit still’ the more they can cart off to their new home across the ocean.

Once again the absence of a military tank idling in your driveway leaves you the false impression that everything is right with the world.

Although I must admit I was taken back a step when the news announced the phalanx of protestors lined up for the opening of the Democratic Convention in NC.

OWS plans on being there, which sort of verifies the general displeasure the public feels over the ‘do nothing’ incumbent running ‘unopposed’.

[Just how much proof do you need that the electoral process has been hijacked?]

You’d be better off going out for an ice cream on election day, if you’re going to ‘waste gas’ you may as well ‘get something out of it.’ beside the ‘illusion of participation’.

How surprised will conservo-whackos be when there’s a revolt over Romney’s election?

How surprised will YOU BE when Romney is crowned and nothing happens?

I’m not the least bit psychic, I’m telling you our oligarchs have already decided and Romney is their boy.

An outcome cemented with the naming of Ryan as his running mate because of what this means for Wall Street.

And you will see widespread social backlash that makes The Terror look like a peace-fest!

Not right away but slowly building as the new administration starts to implement the will of our oligarchs…

They’ll be ‘expecting trouble’ so some of their initial moves will seem, at first, a bit heavy handed.

Which is to predict that the absence of ‘blood in the streets’ today will not be in evidence when cold weather returns.

I’ll not extend my prediction into the holidays because cold weather may well put a damper on revolutionary zeal (and the original outbreaks of ‘unrest’ will be brutally dealt with…although the brutality will only serve to strengthen the resolve of the rebels…leading to even more brutal ‘counterattacks’.)

Sadly, the escalation of hostilities will lead for pleas for peace and we all know what premature peace leads to, subjugation.

Um, wholesale foreclosures, global economic ruin and blatantly obvious electoral rigging…and we’re sitting here yawning by our TV sets?

Maybe I do need my head examined…

In the meantime, thanks for letting me into yours!

The need to redefine the term 'criminal'

Greetings good citizen,

I love it when my ideas ‘reverberate’ through our culture! Sadly, while Mr. Sirota expanded on a theme of mine, he’s a little ‘off the mark’ as far as his interpretation of the message goes:

It’s always dangerous to state you were first when it comes to perceptions but I was definitely ahead of the esteemed Mr. S in the category of perception management :
One spot for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (read: the casinos) shows a woman climbing onto her desk to demand a vacation. Another for McDonald’s implores us to fight back against employers and “overthrow the working lunch.” Still another for a Coca-Cola subsidiary seizes on the stress of harsh working conditions to create buzz for a branded “Take the Year Off” contest.

“Marketers are adopting the theme of workers’ rights at a time when unions themselves are confronting declines in membership and influence,” notes the Times. “In effect, some labor experts say, they are turning a pro-worker theme on its head to serve the corporate interest.”

In one sense, this is good news for organized labor — at a moment when unions are under assault, the ads reflect polls showing persistent mass support for both the concept of worker solidarity and the economic outrage voiced by worker protests. Indeed, companies wouldn’t be echoing such themes if they didn’t know they were wildly popular.

Looks to me like Smack Water Jack done dropped his shotgun!

Besides, you KNOW what’s gonna happen if you ‘demand’ anything from our corporate overlords…you’ll be singing that old familiar tune, ‘Hope I like my next job better’. While trying to out distance your newfound reputation for being ‘a difficult employee’.

But if this feeling of persecution is enough to ‘motivate’ you into taking a much-deserved vacation (and you ARE ‘the man’) just go ahead and do it!

Because that’s who these commercials are really ‘targeted’ at. Not the poor cubicle dwellers but the guy that put them there, they’re trying to get HIM to take some time off! (‘The most valuable man in the office’ really believes the company won’t run without him so he doesn’t take vacations…despite being the only one who can afford to!)

You can find this next offering under my rants about redefining the term criminal :
“We had people who were locking down to concrete barrels and other devices to prevent them from evicting the house and we were mobilizing people to come and defend the house,” Espinosa said. Over the course of the five eviction attempts there were 26 arrests. The last time Espinosa was arrested along with 14 others and charged with rioting in the third degree, defined as “Violence or the threat of violence to people or property when more than three are gathered.”

They face up to two years in prison. Espinosa noted, “There are 15 people now facing riot charges who were arrested doing nonviolent civil disobedience, basically sitting down and linking arms on the front steps of a house.”

“The chief of police was there the night I was arrested. Four other officers stepped over us as we were sitting in front of the door,” he continued. “He stepped directly on top of us, on our shoulders and necks, to come into the house.” The previous day police had grabbed protesters by the neck to move them out of the way, and women activists complained of feeling sexually assaulted, having been groped by the police. “Somebody's hand went up one of my friends' shirts,” Espinosa said. One of the Cruzes' neighbors was arrested while standing on the sidewalk outside her house holding up a sign in support of Occupy Homes.

What’s the first thing to strike your eye here good citizen? Was it the fact that you’d never have heard of this incident if you didn’t live in that particular neighborhood or if not for this Alternet article?

The corporate owned media doesn’t grant a forum for ‘lawbreakers’ (not of the >One Percent variety.)

Which only punctuates our need to redefine the term ‘criminal’. We’re locking up the wrong people while the real felons walk free!

Which leads us directly to our third piece, yet another theme I harp on all of the time, the one regarding the ‘purpose of government’
Teaching the middle class to hate their government was an essential part of the plan to implement Corporate Feudalism. A middle class cannot exist without a strong government. This is because only a government has the power to stand up to the giant corporations of today’s world, or the powerful individuals and private armies of earlier times. It is the government that enforces the laws to protect the middle class from those who would like to become their economic rulers. That is why prior to the Industrial Revolution and the creation of the middle class all economies were run according to some version of the feudal system. If you want to put an end to the middle class and replace it with a feudal republic, you would need to change people’s perception of their government.

Obviously a government does not have to be on the side of its people, as can be seen by the existence of countless dictatorships and oligarchies throughout the world. Even the corporatocracy that currently exists in the United States falls far short of being on the side of its middle class. But US history shows that a government committed to serving its citizens can, in fact, help create and maintain a healthy middle class even in the face of powerful corporations whose only interest is maximizing their own power and profits.

It is like the story in old westerns of a big bad landowner who takes what he wants when he wants it, ruthlessly terrorizing a town without a strong sheriff. Any individual who tries to stop the landowner is beaten into submission or killed. The situation continues until the town finds a strong enough sheriff to regain control over the landowner and his gang. This is the Old West version of the feudal system. In westerns, the feudal lord comes first and the sheriff comes later. But in the United States of thirty years ago, the government was the strong sheriff keeping the late-twentieth-century feudal lords from taking what they wanted. As long as the government was supported by its citizens—particularly its middle class—no one could ride into town and steal what belonged to the people. But if the government were weakened or destroyed, a different situation would arise. The intent of the plan for Corporate Feudalism was to convince the middle class to fire their sheriff. And that’s just what happened.

Again, this article is just a touch ‘off the mark’. The ‘plan’ is not to get the ‘middle class’ to ‘fire the sheriff, they can’t!

The plan was to get the middle class to believe it’s a ‘good idea’ to fire the bum who keeps letting the criminals ‘get away’…when it wasn’t really his fault, the ‘judge’ kept turning ‘em loose!

Ever wonder why you can’t do nothin’ to a judge?

Well, now you know!

Like I said months ago, the ‘plan’ is for a coup against the ‘perceived ineffective’ government.

And we all know what’s going to follow once the “Law & Order” types seize control.

Truth(iness) and Goodness, sprinkled ‘liberally’ with some good old fashioned ‘fire and brimstone’ in support of ‘righteous retribution’ (against those who couldn’t pay!)

Which is to say ‘Hell on Earth’…
It will be better known as the ‘war on the poor’.

How fortunate is it that the poor also comprise the largest segment (in the >One Percent’s mind) of the ‘surplus population’?

The only good news is the ‘war machine’ doesn’t/won’t have the necessary energy to roll around the world like it did the last time…unless the stupid bastards do ‘the unthinkable’.

Switching gears here, they’ve already done it once, purposefully bankrupting the global financial markets, so why stop now?

We truly are in a struggle for our species future…who will you side with?

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Decision 2012

Greetings good citizen,

It is sometimes difficult to determine which is more lamentable, the tone-deafness of our current (as well as would be) leaders or the stunning lack of choice being offered by the (now impossible to tell apart) major political parties.

Much, er, ‘showmanship’ is being expended to drive home the idea that our long defunct political system is ‘suddenly incapable’ of governing the nation.

Just as the Corporate Owned Media has been tireless in their ‘squelching’ of the Occupy movement and their divisive message of US vs. the >One Percent.

In yet another disconcerting message from those pretending to be Democrats, we are reminded of just how hard our hands are being forced:
A large segment of what we will call the ‘progressive forces’ in US politics approach US elections generally, and Presidential elections in particular, as if: (1) we have more power on the ground than we actually possess, and (2) the elections are about expressing our political outrage at the system. Both get us off on the wrong foot.

The US electoral system is among the most undemocratic on the planet. Constructed in a manner so as to guarantee an ongoing dominance of a two party duopoly, the US electoral universe largely aims at reducing so-called legitimate discussion to certain restricted parameters acceptable to the ruling circles of the country. Almost all progressive measures, such as Medicare for All or Full Employment, are simply declared ‘off the table.’ In that sense there is no surprise that the Democratic and Republican parties are both parties of the ruling circles, even though they are quite distinct within that sphere.

The nature of the US electoral system--and specifically the ballot restrictions and ‘winner-take-all’ rules within it--encourages or pressures various class fractions and demographic constituency groups to establish elite-dominated electoral coalitions. The Democratic and Republican parties are, in effect, electoral coalitions or party-blocs of this sort, unrecognizable in most of the known universe as political parties united around a program and a degree of discipline to be accountable to it. We may want and fight for another kind of system, but it would be foolish to develop strategy and tactics not based on the one we actually have.

I dunno about the rest of you but there is only ONE party out there with Worker in its name and that’s who I’m voting for!

Neither the (now defunct) Democrats nor the Republicans (also nearly defunct) give a flying F about the worker…and if we don’t take care of our workers, we won’t have a nation left to salvage.

Um, it is one of the founding principles of A Simple Plan, the recognition of the fact that the world all around us is the product of workers everywhere getting their sorry ass out of bed each day and going to do what they’re paid to do!

It really is that ‘simple’.

Without ‘workers’, none of it happens…and even the ungrateful >One Percent knows it.

Now, for those of you who don’t possess a dictionary, I will provide you with a definition of a word that has been ‘demonized’ by the (incurably stupid) right and that word is the first word of the party that has workers as part of its name.

That word is ‘Socialist’.

I see (largely clueless) kids ranting on the Internet that Mr. Obama is turning America ‘Socialist’.

But our children are to be forgiven for their ignorance (which they inherit from their parents.)

Would that it were kiddos! Would that it were.

Because EVERY ‘public good’ you can point to in our collapsing civilization is the product of ‘Socialism’. Otherwise known as ‘the collective will of the people.’

It is this ‘collective will’ that the >One Percent wishes to stamp out!

It is disconcerting to see how the bought and paid for media has things reversed.

They preach Socialism = Bad and Capitalism = good when just the opposite is true.

Worse, it is the capitalist’s overcharging for ‘socially funded’ projects that give socialism it’s ‘bad name’.

Your average school or roadway costs the public three times what its private sector equivalent does.

And that is just wrong…it also displays how greedy capitalists are.

In fact if you look at the ‘great fortunes’ amassed across the economic landscape, MOST of them came from public contracts…and more than a few are/were ‘war profiteers’!

So as we head into the last three months before we get to pretend we decide anything that goes on around here, you’d best start thinking about who you’re gonna vote for, not that it matters.

The Oligarchs have already cast their ballots and the conservo-loonies won!

But you needn’t take my word for it, you can wait ‘til November and hear it from the Corporate Owned Media.

Remembering all the while just how ‘divided’ the 99 Percent is.

And if that don’t stick in your craw, maybe you deserve a King.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

About Me

Greetings good citizen,

I have just perused the media offerings for today and concluded, amazingly, that in a world that is truly falling apart, they have nothing to say!

So for today’s ‘treat’, you can read me, ‘unplugged’.

Let’s start with my humble beginnings, shall we?

No, I’m not going to bore you with my tawdry upbringing because being raised poor has little to do with anything…although I doubt I’d be who I am today had I been born with anything even resembling a ‘silver spoon’ protruding from any orifice!

So yes, it is at least tangentially relevant that I was born poor and remain poor to this day.

Um, contrary to popular belief, I have never set myself on a path to ‘conquer the world’…and, unsurprisingly, might be accused of failing because I didn’t’ set my sights high enough.

But we can’t ALL conquer the world…and maybe that is my fracture because my goal always has been the ‘greatest good’.

Why is it in a world so full of bounty that only a few get to enjoy it?

And the answer comes back (quite quickly I might add:) mismanagement.

The system itself is deeply flawed and remains that way due to deep corruption!

But I preach to the choir, do I not?

Everybody knows.

So why doesn’t ‘somebody’ DO SOMETHING about it?

Have we all been so deeply indoctrinated with ‘go along to get along’ that none of us dare ‘rock the boat’ (even though it is headed over a cliff?)

Although I’d daresay we have already gone over that cliff, rocking the boat now would merely remove the only thing between you and the jagged rocks below.

As thin as that object may be,

And no, it is unlikely you will survive that sudden stop that follows every long fall.

But I digress…(and do so with such frequency that I fear few of you can follow my, er, ‘insights’ to their conclusions.)

Which is to announce that I suspect my son isn’t the only one with ADD.

Meaning he comes by his ‘honestly’.

So let’s return to the beginning (because we’re gonna end up there anyway) and try not to ‘squander the opportunity’ which the slavers among us are prepared to defend with their worthless lives.

Yes good citizen, there are those among us who support slavery so long as it is not they who are the slaves.

They will inflict a fate worse than death upon YOU if their children are spared.

Did I lose you again? Try to keep up, eh?

These ‘true believers’ form a singular barrier to a fair and equitable society. They must be eliminated OR those they follow/obey must be, er, ‘eradicated’ for subsequent generations to be free.

No ‘half measures’ here good citizen, this is not a ‘once and done’ proposition.

Which is to say vigilance is key. We may succeed in sweeping them aside (temporarily) but they will regroup and start over if we provide them with the mechanisms they need to corrupt society.

Their ‘tool of choice’ is (and always will be) ‘hard currency’. Without it, it becomes near impossible to ‘bribe’ others towards your way of thinking.

This is why you are ‘trained’ to demand money you can touch…while money itself remains an ‘idea’.

Fix this and we break the slaver’s back.

The other ‘trump card’ the slaver holds is their control of the workplace. They get to decide who ‘prospers’ and who starves.

A decidedly toxic power to have in a world where survival depends on ‘participation’.

If they don’t let you play, you can’t prosper…legally.

That is the ‘powder keg’ the unemployment situation has become.

Yet the conservatives (those who would enslave you) still preach that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make yourself ‘USEFUL’ to the employer.

And soon SOME OF YOU may be able to ‘redeem’ yourselves by being willing to DIE for people who wouldn’t ordinarily spit on the best part of you!

Oh, you’ll be a hero for taking a bullet for them but you can almost hear them shriek ‘idiot’ as you fall to the ground, clutching your vitals!

Um, I find myself apologizing after these solo flights if only because a trip through the landscape that is my mind can be a pretty disturbing experience for those who don’t usually think along those lines.

So, in short…(not that I’m particularly comfortable with the short version of anything) A Simple Plan was designed to facilitate the ‘equality’ we need to move forward as a species.

If we don’t learn to live together, we will not survive to go forth and meet new (and hopefully more intelligent) races across the cosmos.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Chuckleheads

Greetings good citizen,

For the massive size of yesterday’s rally, today’s ticker indicates the Dow only added 20 points for the week.

However, if you look at the chart you would see that yesterday’s rally merely restored what the market had sold off the previous day.

Leaving us with the uncomfortable knowledge that theft is theft and the ‘paper rich’ have been robbing us blind via their control of the stock markets.

Which brings us to a much more vexing problem: But it’s only vexing if you think something should be done about it…and apparently most people don’t or worse, don’t know what to do about it.

And what problem is that? It’s finding yourself being held in a dungeon with no means of escape, never mind rescue.

The ‘dungeon’ is your life and YOU have lost all control over it.

This November they are going to dangle the keys to the dungeon in front of you but you already know one of the two, er, ‘candidates’ won’t lift a finger to help you. He’s been in a position to set you free for the last four years but so far the only thing he has succeeded in doing is sit on his thumb.

But wait! listen to ‘chucklehead’ make his case on why YOU should vote for someone you already know isn’t going to do Jack for you!
Instead of doing something practical to mitigate the harm that the U.S. does in the world – by voting for the person who might be less likely to overuse the U.S. military or who might restrain the emission of greenhouse gases – these folks sit on the sidelines basking in their perfection. They won’t make a call.

The hard decision is to support the imperfect candidate who has a real chance to win and who surely will do some rotten things but likely fewer rotten things than the other guy – and might even make some improvements.

I know that doesn’t “feel” as satisfying. One has to enter a morally ambiguous world. But that it is the world where many innocent people can be saved from horrible deaths (though not all) and where possibly actions can be taken to ensure that future generations are left a planet that is still habitable or at least with the worst effects of global warming avoided.

Um, I’d start by pointing out the people calling themselves ‘progressives’ MOST DEFINITELY ARE NOT in any way, shape or form Democrats.

The democrats are GONE, they no longer exist…which is to point out the obvious, the vast majority of us don’t even have a horse in the upcoming presidential election.

The whole electoral process has been hijacked by the >One Percent. There are NO ‘honest brokers’ in this contest.

And understand good citizen, governments are formed with the ‘EXPRESS PURPOSE’ of protecting the public from the predations of the Rich!

So what do you do…or more succinctly, who do you vote for when nobody in the race represents you?

Chucklehead says you should vote for the one who will do ‘the least harm’.

Makes you wonder if that was his thinking when W. was running for a second term?

Which all the proof you’ll ever need that the electoral process is corrupt beyond repair!

The fact that W. got a second term in defiance of all logic proves the electoral process is corrupt and in the control of the >One Percent!

What do you do when the government no longer protects your interests?

The >One Percent knew what to do, they ‘bought’ the government.

The question is how do we rid ourselves of a corrupt government?

Can we ‘vote them out?’

Can’t, the >One Percent owns the ballot box (actually they own who reports the election results…so it doesn’t matter who or what you vote for because the reporters are going to report whatever they guy who cuts their paycheck tells them to report!

And it IS ‘that damn simple!’

Because there is NO WAY you can prove that ISN’T what happens!

So are we ‘stuck’…are we doomed to be shackled under an unresponsive government?

Now you have to ask yourself if you want to live on you knees for the rest of your natural days.

And most of you are thinking, ‘if this is living on my knees then I don’t have it too bad.’

Even though, comparatively speaking, you live like an animal compared to the >One Percent.

Still, life on your knees is preferable to dying in just about any position…and you’re willing to put up with the ‘occasional frisking’ if that’s as bad as it gets.

But you already know it isn’t going to stop with friskings and being hassled about what you’re up to and why you’re outside. It will be the ‘disappearings’ that are going to eat you alive.

When people you know start vanishing and you know that they got picked up by the cops, then is when you’ll start wondering, ‘will I be next’?

The time to put your foot down is BEFORE ‘the disappearings’ start…try to organize resistance AFTER they start and you’re probably gonna get it.

So, good citizen, who do you think you’ll be voting for this November, Mr. Sat-on-his-thumb for four years or Mr. One Percent, who really only wants to be in the history books?

Not a real ‘inspiring’ set of choices, are they?

I wonder who the Socialists are running this November?

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner

Buckle Up!

Greetings good citizen,

Seems to be something about the ‘kill off’ message that readers find too disturbing to contemplate.

Which is sort of a shame because finding it ‘distasteful’ doesn’t lessen the likelihood of it happening a single iota.

Make no mistake about it good citizen, YOU are being ‘undermined’ at every critical juncture. Every aspect of your life is being flushed away so you WON’T have a crack at the ‘mating game’…even if it’s just to scratch your itch.

(Because we have to face the reality that most kids are conceived not when we’re calling the stork but when we’re getting our freak on! By the time most of us get around to actually calling the stork, the doctor is needed to lend a ‘helping hand’. Do you know a married couple who ISN’T in a fertility program? And for some bizarre reason THIS is NOT NEWS!)

But we digress, let us proceed with today’s offering
Feelings of decreased self-worth and desirability go hand-in-hand with job insecurity—and they make you feel about as alluring as an Uglydoll. The 2011 blockbuster film Bridesmaids follows the sexual and romantic mishaps of Annie Walker, a 30-something woman who lost her bakery in the Great Recession and finds herself working at a dead-end retail job at a jewelry store that makes her feel miserable. And even that goes down the tubes when she mocks the relationship commitments of customers. Annie hooks up with jerks and feels unworthy of a nice guy when he finally comes along. Her mojo returns only when she begins to see the possibility of restarting her business. For her, meaningful work and a satisfying love life are indissolubly linked.

Our bodies –and our hearts -- were not made to cope with long-term job insecurity. To fully open ourselves to the right person and let go physically, we need a measure of safety in our lives. But three consecutive years of unemployment over 8 percent – the worst such run since the Great Depression – is leaving us fearful and forlorn. Shredded social safety nets and weak bonds of community and kinship mean that there’s little to mute the intensity of anxiety that never seems to fade.

It’s even worse than it seems good citizen, the kids are being told that we did this to them ‘on purpose’, that we gave birth to them solely so we could collect our ‘entitlement programs’.

Another reason we should ‘cap’ all registered Republicans on sight.
What a viscous fucking lie to tell our kids! (But it is sadly consistent with everything else these deluded bastards do!)

Minds that can only hate have no time or room for thinking.

Which is to point out it would be mighty fucking stupid of us to have all of these kids then EXPORT all of their jobs! (So Wally-Mart could charge ‘lower prices’ by paying less than a living wage in a third world economy based of rampant fraud!)

Worse, this practice has destabilized the global economy…and the fuckers (think) they are going to just sit there and snicker when it all implodes.

(I think the ones who aren’t smart enough to run should be killed where we find them!)

Not that the responsible parties are particularly obvious.

It will take some research to ferret out the people behind Adam Smith’s ‘invisible hand’…that robs us all blind!

Anyway, stock markets around the globe are bleeding red ink (again) and nobody is ‘surprised’ except stock analysts but that’s what their paid to do…

How nice is it, being paid to be Mickey the Dunce?

Stock markets should be shut down tomorrow and all of the operators tried for treason and crimes against humanity.

But that’s just my opinion.

And almost nobody gives a flying fig what I think…more or less.

Anyway good citizen, I’ve got crap to do and people to comfort in the hour of their loss…yes, the ‘death watch’ ended this morning. She’s gone to a better place!

Hold a place in your heart for a moment for the good souls who pass through our lives too quickly.

Only the good die young, the rest of us had best buckle up, it’s gonna be a long, bumpy ride!

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

Crazy

Greetings good citizen,

How do you rouse a civil population into recognizing that members of their own tribe have conspired to paint you as the enemy?

Worse, in doing so they commit a serious crime but they are not prosecuted for it.

Let us fill in another detail that is at once frightening and ‘enlightening’. These people are the same ones who have stolen for themselves the luxuries that are rightfully ours.

How do we, the ordinary citizen, protect ourselves from the criminally rapacious among us?

Sadly good citizen, I think we all realize that it is more than a little too late to be asking this question…

The irony lies in our collective failure to recognize that the behavior behind these past incidents is mirrored in the behavior of our modern corporate technocrat.

Those of you who had to work on the recent holiday may recognize that:
Those native communities that were most accommodating to the European colonists, such as the peaceful California tribes—the Chilulas, Chimarikos, Urebures, Nipewais and Alonas, along with a hundred other bands—were the first to be destroyed. And while I do not advocate violence, indeed will seek every way to avoid it, I have no intention of accommodating corporate power whether it hides behind the mask of Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. At the same time, I have to acknowledge that resistance may ultimately be in vain. [If it is then you’re doing it wrong!] Yet to resist is to say something about us as human beings. It keeps alive the possibility of hope, even as all empirical evidence points to inevitable destruction. It makes victory, however remote, possible. And it makes life a little more difficult for the ruling class, which satisfies the very human emotion of vengeance.

To paraphrase Yoda, there is no ‘try’ either you DO or you DON’T!

Oh, and PS by the way, I’m don’t give a DAMN about ‘making a statement’ regarding ‘human virtue’.

IF WE LOSE OUR SPECIES IS FUCKING DOOMED!

Often decried as one of the ‘renegade philosophers’ of the past, here are some words of wisdom the rest of us would be wise to heed considering our current circumstances:
“Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power,” wrote the philosopher John Locke, “they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are there upon absolved from any further obedience.”

Let me clarify this statement for you. You, the hapless wage slave, have no choice but to do as you’re told or lose EVERYTHING you’ve worked your entire life to build.

When the same people who put you in this position decide they can get what you do done cheaper somewhere else, they end your employment and chuck you out on the street.

End of story, what happens next is up to you.

What you SHOULD do is go back and burn the fucking dump to the ground, but you won’t because the ‘trail’ that leads back to you is still a bit too ‘fresh’ for you to claim ‘not me!’

Same thing happens when year after year and you don’t get a pay increase. (Or the raise you do get is immediately taken away by an increase in insurance premiums or the price of food or energy rises.)

This has been going on for three DECADES, and all the while the fuckwads have been crying about how bad the economy is!

Their prices go up but your pay doesn’t…their expenses fall but your paycheck remains frozen solid…although the ‘big guy’ has upgraded his ride, instead of a new Caddy he drives a new Mercedes now.

And you’re paying twice what you used to pay for health insurance ten years ago…now take that and spread it over how many employees the company has.

You’re not talking ‘chicken feed’ here, are you.

Understand good citizen, the big ‘change’ the difference between now and 1929 was back then we were still a largely ‘agrarian’ culture. Most people still had a relative who had a substantial farm. Worse come to worse, you could go there and work the farm for your ‘keep’.

These days, after Grampa Joe sold the farm to developers, you (being the grandchild) got nothing!

Your folks may have parlayed their meager inheritance into a condo in Miami (which they just recently lost their shirts on!) leaving YOU Zike!

Again you got nothin’!

And ‘The Grinch’ don’t care. If you aren’t evil enough to go out there and steal what you need for yourself…the Grinch don’t care about you or ‘your problems’.

And it is precisely this, er, ‘predatory’ behavior that is decimating the institution of ‘civilization’.

If you can’t trust the next guy then it is impossible to even form a civilization.

Perhaps now you can see why I, er, ‘opine’ that we are doomed if we fail to weed out the ‘unscrupulous’ among us.

Naturally, being this close to it, it is easy to see the ‘slippery slope’ that leads ahead.

How do we tell the scrupulous from the unscrupulous?

And all I can point to is 'deeds not words.'

The truth lies not in what they say but what they DO!

Illustration aside, I agree with the final point of this article.

Time to ‘get Crazy’

Hard Reality

Greetings good citizen,

In case any of you were worried, the destruction of our civilization proceeds apace, thanks largely to the efforts of the ‘free-market conservo-whackos.’

Like our first ‘snippet from today’s business section of the NY Times, the Dow was DOWN 15 points and pretty much ‘down’ around the world as of this writing:
Markets Edge Ahead
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS 6 minutes ago

Stocks on Wall Street started out positively as investors awaited domestic economic reports.

Now the chart shows a positive start so the fuckers are not blind but the ‘ski slope’ that leads to the current negative reading is just short of straight down.

Who knows, it could turn right around and shoot up 200 points FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON…(it’s happened before.)

Now I need you to take a step out of time with me for a few moments while we examine another example of ‘belaboring the obvious’ that has been going on for the past decade.

The Zero Growth phenomenon also known as ‘wage stagnation’, the toxic by-product of the global race to the bottom.

Not only are workforces around the globe shrinking but so is the workers ‘purchasing power’.

For more than a decade it has been pointed out that the past THIRTY years have seen Zero Growth in personal income…in fact, in most cases the mean income has declined since the Seventies.

Defenders of the free markets counter that our ‘standards of living’ have increased but that is false, they have not because along with wage stagnation we have also seen a geometric rise in ‘personal indebtedness’…and not just for ‘toys’ (as the free-market happy talkers like to point out.)

Well Bubba, how many of you think, nay, BELIEVE this situation is going to ‘turn itself around?’

More succinctly, what do you suppose it is going to take to turn this long series of negative hits into even a short burst of positive action?

Can you say ‘revolution’?

Don’t say no, many people who see no value to the senseless killing that accompanies revolts will be right there, lopping off heads right beside you because NOT fighting will NOT be an option.

Although those of you who have survived this long on your knees will probably NOT stand up in time and you’ll be slaughtered where you grovel.

Them’s the breaks.

Join me in the present once again as we take a quick look at the future that is preparing to bowl most of us right out of our complacency…
With No Vote, Taxpayers Stuck With Tab on Bonds
By MARY WILLIAMS WALSH

Surprised taxpayers are finding themselves obligated for parking garages, hockey arenas and other [civic necessities]

Yup, you voted for it and now you’re gonna have to pony up for it…NOW! As your tax starved city or town starts defaulting on its bonds (debts) the creditors are going to come after the townsfolk looking for their money.

What do you suppose is going to happen when this shit lands in court?

Will your town be forced to lay-off it’s teachers and firefighters to pay for the new traffic lights in the center of town? (the ones that automatically bag drivers who run red lights and cost twice as much as the regular ones?)

Yup, local businesses, on the edge of closing their doors (because, believe me, business is ‘drying up’ and they aren’t gonna be able to keep their doors open much longer.) are going to be asking towns for tax breaks so they can stay in business a while longer.

And if the town refuses, they’ll stay open anyway and close their doors when the tax lien hits the mailbox.

In yet another convenient bit of ‘foreshadowing’ we have this story which asks, ‘how much is enough?’:
Credit Suisse Said to Plan New Round of Layoffs in Europe
By MARK SCOTT 48 minutes ago

Credit Suisse, which announced a major restructuring effort last year, may reduce the work force of its European investment banking division by as much as 30 percent.
Good thing their US business is solid, we don’t need anymore lay-offs over here!

But it’s all connected, isn’t it?

And nobody can put a finger on the lynchpin that will make it all collapse in a heap (but there is little doubt that there is ‘monumental’ strain on that particular weak point.)

Just the other day someone was sounding the ‘cyber-warfare’ siren again.

In my novel it is an insider cyber attack that levels the world’s financial markets (while simultaneously destroying the evidence) that results in TEOTWAKI. ‘Unforeseen' wildfires that decimate the population thwart efforts to ‘restore order’…

But hey, it’s fiction. What makes for a good read isn’t how it’s going to go down, is it?

I’ll be the first to admit my central character is lucky beyond belief (being the ‘god of the book’ has it’s advantages.)

But that aside, we have to ask ourselves ‘would the guilty go as far as to crash the world’s financial markets to ‘muddy the waters’ surrounding their various crimes?

It’s not as ‘far-fetched’ as one might imagine…

Neutron Bombing

Greetings good citizen,

Today we are treated to a disaster in the making masquerading as a success story

Let’s take a look at our ‘fair use’ snippet to see what kind of Republican hit piece the so-called ‘liberal media’ can get away with:
Mr. Porter, a retired AT&T engineer, was an advocate of the town when it was a hopeless cause, during the many years when Democrats blocked efforts to let a largely Republican and white suburb cleave itself from Fulton County. One Democratic legislator vowed that Sandy Springs would incorporate “when pigs fly,” a phrase that Mayor Galambos has since adopted as the name of her blog.

After an election in 2004, both houses of Georgia’s legislature were controlled by Republicans for the first time since Reconstruction.

“It was like a dog that’s been chasing a train for years and finally catches it,” Mr. Porter says. “The question was, What do I do with it now?”

As a fan of Ronald Reagan and the economist Friedrich Hayek, Mr. Porter came naturally to the notion that Sandy Springs could push “the model” to its nth degree. His philosophical inclinations were formed by a life spent in private enterprise, and cemented by a visit to Weston, Fla., a town that had begun as a series of gated communities.

Mr. Porter tells this and other stories in “Creating the New City of Sandy Springs,” a book that will leave readers with one indelible lesson: incorporating a city is dull. Superduper dull. The book is composed mostly of the codicils, requests for proposals and definitions of duties that were required to jolt Sandy Springs to life. Without a love of minutiae and a very long attention span, forget it. But this is intended as a blueprint, not a gripping narrative. Mr. Porter regards the success of Sandy Springs as a way out of the financial morass that has engulfed so many cities in the aftermath of the Great Recession.

Left unmentioned here was something else St. Ronnie [Reagan] was a big fan of, the fucking neutron bomb! [Kills the people but leaves the buildings intact…see the connection?]

Naturally this Libertarian pinhead wouldn’t ‘justify’ his work, he'd just tell you how to copy it; then it’s your bad when the downside of this idiotic idea slams you upside the head!

Immutable fact number one, you can’t do ANYTHING cheaper ‘second-hand’, adding a ‘middle-man’ adds cost.

So where do the ‘cost savings’ of privatizing government come from?

It sure isn’t cheaper for the municipality, the chiseling capitalist pockets most of the ‘savings’ for themselves.

And what ‘savings’ are these? First is the considerable reduction in wages paid then there is the near total elimination of ‘benefits’.

As you gaze drifts across the economic desert, caused by a decimated consumer base, you have to question the wisdom of slashing salaries and benefits further.

Benefits the, er, company (in our privatized example) don’t pay for have to be made up out of the private sector worker’s considerably lower salary.

This wasn’t ‘the right thing to do’ when the private sector exported our manufacturing capacity and it certainly isn’t the ‘right thing to do’ now…

Unless you really WANT YOUR CHILDREN to squander the rest of their lives in a banana republic!

Again I will remind you that this is not only mismanagement in the highest degree, it is also ‘treason’ of the highest order!

(Before you object, saying this is ‘only business’, placing your own selfish interests ahead of the interests of society IS and FOREVER will be TREASON!)

And you KNOW what the penalty for treason is…

And this is how we know our justice system is broken beyond repair!

(Sorry good citizen, I haven’t gone off the reservation like this in quite some time but seeing this Libertarian BULLSHIT being pedaled in the corporate owned media as a ‘good thing’ makes my blood boil!)

True, the public sector now makes the kind of salaries you can only dream about in the private sector (although that was NOT the case forty years ago.)

Worse, that should give you pause to consider just how badly beaten down the private sector in this nation has become.

And the > One Percent aren’t complaining…hell, they’re laughing all the way to the bank, the very same bank that is about to foreclose on your home!

Um, I am well aware that the conservo-whackos have been accusing the imaginary ‘libruls’ of treason for the past decade…but that accusation was only to cover their own treachery!

Again, truth be told, the conservo-whackos don’t know what treason really is!

Bizarrely, when they accuse someone of treason what they are usually doing is calling them ‘unpatriotic’ FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW…

And Treason has NOTHING to do with PATRIOTISM!

Nope, the ‘traitors’ among us don’t believe in ‘Nation States’ and thereby are convinced they are ‘incapable’ of treason.

While they sell out the future of every man woman and child in this country to enrich their ugly, selfish selves.

They are the ones who exported our jobs while elimination tarrifs around the globe.

And you won’t hear one of them ask, who cares if we unbalance the world’s economy as long as WE get rich!

Not their fucking problem, man…

But it sure as shit is gonna be yours…and fucking soon!

I am predicting they WON’T get away with it…but stopping them is up to YOU!

Thanks for letting me inside your head,

We're All Greek

Greetings good citizen,

Um, Mr. Market is torn between diving for cover and hovering this morning, hoping nobody notices it is just hanging around, slacking off.

Naturally, today’s ‘Big Story’ is the Greek elections which, (surprise, surprise!) held victory for the supporters of ‘bailing out the banks’ and further ‘austerity’ measures for an already crumbling economy.

(Can you say ‘stick em up?)

It seems whoever is pulling the strings of the Grecian media has no problem with it…but maybe he’s paying attention to the richest MEXICAN in the world, who says we should all work longer/retire later!

[This, from an asshole who interprets the minimum wage as also being the maximum wage!]

But I digress (although not as far as the lying media is concerned.)

Um, in case you don’t see the ‘pattern’ that is developing here, look a little closer at how the ‘ballot box’ is performing ‘worldwide’.

Let’s start with Michigan’s ‘recall election’. Apparently while they had no problem collecting enough signatures to put the recall into action, they didn’t have the necessary spark to push the voters into the voting booth!

People wanted to change governors but didn’t like the alternative well enough to drag themselves to the polls for.

And why do you suppose that is?

Because one asshole voting for you without ever consulting you is pretty much like any other asshole.

There’s no ‘win’ there.

And (as the progressives are slowly realizing) there is no win in championing the survival of the ONLY successful unions left in the nation…they are the unions of our oppressors.

These are the unions that back up the demands of the men who come and throw you out of your house when the bank evicts you!

Yeah, there’s a part of all of us who take a measure of satisfaction from watching these guys get clothes-lined by the same greedy fuckers who ordered them to keep the plant entrances clear when we striking for our jobs!

How sad is it that this particular dish has grown very ‘cold’ indeed?

Worse, it demonstrates perfectly the strategy of ‘divided we fall’.

The policeman’s UNION should have ‘backed’ the striking workers when they were struggling against the global race to the bottom, because if they had, (instead of defending the company’s interests) we wouldn’t be in the crisis we’re in now!

I never understood the union’s refusal to engage in ‘sympathy strikes’…although as time goes on it becomes clear that SOME people were well paid to keep their noses out of it.

Yet another crime that will be vigorously prosecuted when the time comes…treachery is treachery, after all.

How sad is it good citizen that the failure to stand up to the over-reaching resulted in the collapse of civilization itself.

And do you know what the greed-heads have to say about that?

They say ‘Oh, fucking well!’

But shamelessness is its own reward…as pathetic as that may be.

Talk about ‘digress’ I’m on the second page and I haven’t introduced today’s snippets!
Market Relief Fades at Greek Election Results
By STEPHEN CASTLE 8:04 AM ET

Market relief at the future of the euro zone began to fade by midmorning Monday, as stocks and the euro retreated and Spain’s borrowing costs reached a level seen by many as unsustainably high.

Aftermath of the Greek Vote

Dow futures are down, Germany continues to oppose euro bonds and bank analysts see reasons for continued pessimism.

Worried Banks Resist Fiscal Union
By LANDON THOMAS Jr.

European banks oppose a union, which is meant to encourage the free flow of money in Europe and halt the lending cycle between sick banks and debt-laden governments.

Greek Election Defuses One Crisis, but More Lurk
By NATHANIEL POPPER

Greece is expected to continue receiving the international aid it needs to stay afloat, but problems in Spain, Italy and the rest of Europe still need to be addressed.

I think the first story is the most ‘telling’…the ‘last minute’ conservative party is probably held together with spit and barbed wire and has a decidedly nasty agenda hidden up its sleeve for the Greek people.

Thus does its election not bode well for political harmony in the ‘cradle of Democracy.’

Which is to say the banks themselves cobbled up this new party with a wing and a prayer and lured voters to it by dangling the fate of the Euro over its snapping jaws.

And the ‘suckers’ fell for it…for now.

When the bloom falls away we shall see how ‘popular’ last chance, spur of the moment political parties remain.

Which returns us to our original diagnosis…there is NO (nada, zip, zero) ‘cure’ for the cripple banking system via capitalism.

The solution to our broken economy lies in ABANDONING CAPITALISM!

You can find a detailed replacement among the pages of this blog.

Thanks for letting me inside your head,
